What with the HUGE Queue times for BGs?

So, i did 3 BGs so far... Each of them had near to 1/2 hour wait to to get in, one 38 mins O.o Can we know when this is going to be fixed? Did the 'fix' to Battle grounds, cause this? My last BG, ended in about 8 mins.. so a 1/2 hr+ wait... for 8 mins game time?

Artmetis✭✭✭Well, i got another BG... I am queuing for flag games, finally get one! Woot! I was so ecstatic. But then, my team plays a death match during the Crazy Kings, ignoring the flags. So i waited over 1/2 an hour to FINALLY get a queue, only to get 1,200 points and a hoard of deaths trying to play the game mode as intended... Is there a plan to shut down the game or something? I rarely PvE... Healers are nerfed in pvp... Lag is crazy in Cyro, my only reprieve was BGs. Heck, the 10 bids on guild stalls is already enough to make a lot of ppl quit in frustration. I am the GM of a large trade guild, that came to this game with about 30 guildies when WARHAMMER shut down, (after a brief stint in the game Rift). I hope this gets fixed soon. I love this game, and the many friends I have made here... but ppl have to draw the line somewhere. Why is it more frustrating to try to ENJOY a game, then to go to work?3

✭✭Got a bg to pop up in like 5 minutes. Happy. Accepted. And now I'm stuck in a Deathmatch loading screen. After 5 mintues, it got me out and said "failed to join battleground".0 -
CynicK✭✭✭Played 2 battlegrounds yesterday I just had to wait a little more than usual that is instan maybe 3 minutes each, is this pc eu? Maybe they were not queuing at the time. During the night sometimes I too had had to wait more.0

Artmetis✭✭✭That's prolly it. If ya was high MMR b4, ya screwed, since it seems they accidentally broke the... 'Pair you with anyone else after xyz amount of time' functionality. So it makes we wait over 1/2 hr, (mostly about 45 mins+) to my record tonight... 1 hour, 8 mins just to get a pop O.o. Basically, if you played a lot of BGs in the past, you will hardly get anyone to game with. Really sad, imho. If you enjoy something, then to bad for you. you cant get to enjoy it... Go do something else, or go play a different game...0

Artmetis✭✭✭Thank you for that Chilly, Ironically when i started queuing was right on the button with peak time, and having 1/2 hour+ waits. Which only increased as the night went on. the 1 hr 8 mins wait was around 11:00 PM EST (Ps it would of prolly gone on longer, but i just quit). Which still has a LOT of ppl online according to that chart.0

Artmetis✭✭✭Did some more tests, with friends, one was 30 seconds, one was 3 mins, one was 5 mins. They all dont play BGs often. So it really has to be a bug... Defo killing BGs! (and the game for me)0

✭✭✭I'm not stepping foot into a BG with the horrible tank meta back in full force. That's just begging for 15 minutes of misery. Dunno if others feel the same, but it makes it zero fun to play in BGs for me.1 -

✭✭✭✭✭When you negatively impact the amount of people playing endgame comfortably, queue wait times become longer.
However you should see a slight uptick in a day or two. Right now people are redoing their spells and equipment. When they get into a more comfortable state, some will come back. But it won’t be what it was like before.0 -

I also grouped with a friend and he was crown. We were able to get into bgs much faster (5 min or so) than when I tried solo (35+ minutes).0 -
Artmetis✭✭✭So this queue bug is STILL happening. waited 38 mins, no pop. Cancelled it.. now its 14 more mins, and still no pop. Here is a screen shot of one of them from earlier. https://ibb.co/nLxMq5z this was 1 hour 5 mins.
I am not sure if it is my character, or if it is a new problem with the Battle Ground queues, but ever since the patch on the 21st, the time to get a queue for Land Grab is HUGE! As i type this, I am in queue for 28 mins (Avg. 40+ mins). My longest was 1 hour 8 mins before I gave up. PS. hakan✭✭✭✭✭lol a bg thread and all DOOMERS came and commented. nah its not a pop situation. Considering just a couple of days ago you could insta queue to it.
Group finder and overall game performance sucks. thats why people dont queue.
Remember, they changed the system again so i believe its malfunctioning. Just like everything else.0
