Double dual dagger build (that's 4 daggers ya'll)!

Hey all,
I've got this RP dream of a super fast Redguard with 4 daggers that runs circles around enemies going all stabby stabby stab on their behinds.

I'm CP 300. I have been trying to figure out (the entire time I've played this game) if my dream of a quad dagger character is viable at all.
Right now, on a skeleton dummy, entirely self buffed, I can pull 19k DPS. I expect that number to go up a lot when I can craft a Night mother's gaze ring, to get that 5 piece physical penetration bonus.
Diving right in to my setup (for target dummy):
Front bar: Barbed trap, Killer's blade, Surprise attack, Rending slashes, Camo hunter, Dawnbreaker
Back bar: Flying blade, Relentless focus, Leeching strikes, Blade cloak, Mark target aka Reaper's mark (will switch to soul-splitting trap when I craft that ring), and Incapacitating strikes
I'm running 5 piece Hunding's Rage, and soon to be 5 piece Night Mother's gaze.
Now for my rationale:
• 9% flat DMG bonus for fighter's guild slotted/passive.
• Flying blade gives major brutality, weapon DMG 20% (and it's been giving me that for 40 seconds. I think it's a bug)
• Camo hunter gives Major Savagery +2191 weapon crit, and if I circle around the enemy throughout (which fits my hyper-agile RP character vision), I get Minor berserk continuously, giving a flat 8% DMG increase.
• Incap strikes gives me a flat 20% DMG increase for 6 seconds
• Blade cloak gives me 8 bursts of over 1k DMG for 8 seconds (or is it 10 sec now?)
• Standard spectral bow proc on relentless focus
• Barbed trap gives Minor Force, crit DMG up 10% for 12 seconds
• Hemmorrhage, assassin passive, gives minor savagery, increasing crit by 1320 for 20 sec
• Reapers mark is nice if I have mobs around, as it gives me a flat 25% DMG increase after marked target dies (this is awesome with whirling blades in dungeons with multiple mobs)
• Soul-splitting trap is now a great DOT
I've got 2 pieces of armor up to legendary/yellow. My 2 front bar daggers are yellowed as well, with nirnhoned. The rest are purple.
You can assume the rest to be standard Nightblade practice, with divines on most items, a couple infused pieces with stamina enchants (although I know meta is all divines). Weapon damage enchants on jewelry. Shadow boon. Food is Braised rabbit and whatever (blue). Weapon enchants are damage + absorb stamina. Most of my enchants are purple level, not all gold yet.
So, I've got a ways to go on my gear. Don't expect I'll be getting Relequin gear anytime soon. My real question is, at my current level, with my current gear, doing 19k DPS, is this a good sign that I may one day be viable for some big ol' DPS numbers? Where were you guys at DPS-wise at CP300?
If I can make a double dual dagger build viable, I'd be happy to take a hit to the old DPS numbers, because it's a lot of fun and I love the roleplay idea of a Redguard running circles around bosses stabbing the jeebers out of it from all angles.
Thanks in advance all. Peace love.

Unless you're chasing leaderboards, @WhitestBoyUkno, pretty much any sensible set combinations with 4 daggers should work for you.

Especially if you're heavier into RP than clearing content.

Don't forget ... if you're on PC you can test out any of your aforementioned build combinations on PTS. That way, you don't use up valuable resources trying to theorycraft your idea on Live.

Four? With the latest change and slotting Bound Armaments, you can have up to 8...

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.

@Taleof2Cities That's good to hear. I'm definitely not chasing leaderboards, but I like being able to clear challenging content. I play mostly solo, love questing, and have been working on solo'ing world bosses and group dungeons with success. When I saw I was able to solo normal group dungeons, it gave me hope that this build might be viable in the future after I get all the necessary gear and CP's.

Your comment is the first to say it's not a lost cause (I posted this on the reddit as well). I don't see anyone else talking about quad dagger builds....but I'm still clinging to the dream, because it's so cool to me.

By endgame, I'd like to be able to run most vet group dungeons and such. I want to think I can get those numbers up high enough eventually. Plus, I've seen bow/bow builds pull 70k DPS on target dummies, though I don't believe they were self buffed...not sure. But if they can pull off a double weapon build, I feel like quad daggers is doable. I'd be happy with even 50k DPS....surely that's doable.

And I had no idea PC could do that. I'm on xbox. Like wow that'd be awesome to test it out without all this work. But then again it might ruin the magic of chasing a dream lol!

@Merlin13KAGL When I read that I was like, "bro....octo-daggers would be so sick lol"

I'd love to hear from anyone who has tried this, though I feel I'm one of the only ones LOL! Probably a reason for that, but if it can get me through all but the upper echelon of content, I'd be very very happy. Any more input is much appreciated.

I'm looking into doing a DW/DW build too, but I'm also on xbox and haven't gotten the chance to grind out all the skills and gear I need. I'm trying it on a StamNecro. It'd be nice if someone could come up with something on the PTS ;)
Add a Scribing skill that works like Arcanist beam.
    ---
Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.
    ---
Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.

Any other input friends? Would love to get more thoughts on this build's potential.

@RaptorRodeoGod Hey man I'd love to hear how it goes on a necc-y. I haven't looked into that class's skills at all at this point.

I imagine I'll turn my current char into a bow/bow stamblade at some point. Because let's be honest, that's an awesome idea. I bet there's tons of skill involved with kiting like that. Pretty radical rad-tastic stuff. Love this game man.

    Hey all,
If I can make a double dual dagger build viable, I'd be happy to take a hit to the old DPS numbers

Or if you're like me you'll just wind up with better DPS numbers going double dual wield

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/439416/another-reason-dual-wield-front-bar-was-giving-better-dps#latest

Here's what I got on the latest patch with my unoptimized double dual wield Sorc Bosmer in non-perfected trial stuff, which is a lot more than I got trying to follow the meta.

@Bladerunner1 what sets were you running? I see relequin and kragh, not sure about the rest though.

@Bladerunner1 Duuuude that's so rad. Look at those numbers! The dream lives on strong. Forget meta man....meta is boring. I knew blade cloak was a great skill. And I see Relequen is a must-have. I'll set my sights on getting that soon. Thanks for sharing, that's awesome.

@Nordic__Knights Hey I appreciate the hypothetical offer of crafting me that ring, that's real nice. Glad to hear from you and thanks for helping keep the dream alive

Since it's 70% DOTs the other set is deadly strikes with weapons on both bars. Infused daggers on the back to proc a poison and berserker glyph with deadly cloak.

I gave it a shot, it's my first time working out a rotation with a necro

    7G7ld7S.png

Same setup as before: Bosmer, unoptimized mostly circular rotation, same gear and weapons as the sorc in the earlier post since DOTs are around 2/3 of the damage.

Front bar: Blastbones, Consuming Trap, Rending Slashes, Detonating Siphon, Rapid Strikes, Flawless Dawnbreaker
Back bar: Deadly Cloak, Shadow Silk, Barbed Trap, Skeletal Archer, Detonating Siphon, Pestilent Colossus

Yeah with the latest nerfs bow is even less important despite being the best. The only bad thing about having daggers on backbar is that you're never gonna have a full weapon damage enchant (one handed weapons have half enchant values).

Also make sure you have 4 different enchants on them because same enchants get wasted. I recommend weapon damage, absorb stamina, poison and one more of your choice. Or you can just slot poisons on frontbar.

Normal Cloudrest is easily doable on cp300, don't wait for it. Normal trials are easier than base game veteran dungeons. I myself waited until cp600 to attend even normal trials and regretted it later. So go get your Relequen gear asap. Night Mother is a bad set since in any group content your tank will apply that penetration debuff, making your set completely useless.
