Another day, another broken PC/EU-server. Friday evening, logging into Cyro at 8 pm CET. Queue: 3!

If anybody needs any indicator how TERRIBLE things are pn PC/EU, this primetime Cyro queue is it. People are just fleeing the PVP server, it is completey defunct. Lag is insane, skills dont respond, sneak is bugged, invisibility is bugged, cc-break and cc-immunity are a joke, combat bug is more infective than the new corona virus.

After the PVP event, ZOS obviously has made another severe downgrade to the PC/EU-server, never before have I seen such an incredibly bad performance.

I fully sympathise with PvPers, but it is wrong to imply as many posts do that the entire ESO game is broken on PC EU, it is not. This is very much a continuation - and worsening - of the PvP experience. I don't just say that because I log into overland PvE gameplay and have no problems, but because I see the usual large amount of other players who are clearly not having any problems either, whether it's overland generally, in delves, or at dolmens. I can't speak for dungeons and trials, perhaps they too are experiencing continuing problems, nor can I speak for Steam users. However, the PC EU server is not broken, certain aspects of it are.

Trials and (vet) dungeons see many of the same issues that Cyrodiil does, though often on a smaller scale. In fact big fights in overland, such as big dragon fights, can see many of the issues that Cyrodiil does. Considering how big a part of the game dungeons and trials are, many would call that endgame, I'd say that the same has some severe issues to the point of being broken, in part if not in whole.

Also, you must have missed the multiple server meltdowns over the past few months is you can sit there and claim the PC/EU isn't broken.

I disagree. I’m specifically not talking about Cyrodiil or PvP. Not because they are not broken, but because generally I’m not playing them.

I’m talking about server meltdown during the Undaunted Event 2019, server meltdown after the changes to guild functionality, server lag in general, mass 304 and 307 errors, and just crap server performance overall on PC EU over the last 18 months. I’m not saying it’s always crap, but the crap periods appear to occur when there are high numbers of players and only on PC EU, not PC NA. So the suspicion is that ZOS don’t care about PC EU because neither they, nor their friends play on it.

I am not exxagerating: The lag in PVP is the worst since ever. And I've been playing for 4 years. It is seriously, seriously bad. Not an inconvenience, but a game-breaking issue. But eh, who am I talking to. The wall maybe.

I'm based in EU and have started creating characters in NA instead - the ping is wildly volatile on EU, going from 50-60ms to 999+ every 2 minutes

19:40 vet PC EU kaal campaigns lag is so bad atm you can't even attack other people at times. Wtf has been done to the hamsters!?

Kaal unplayable right now. Everyone walks, runs and sprints with half a meter each second. Skills with a cast time take 10 seconds. Other players moving like a slideshow. I saw a red fall from top of castle alessia, took over 30 seconds. How can we play if we cannot move?!?!?!

I gave up mostly today. My stealth instant attacks aren't even working properly.

Seems to be a bit of problem here today (12:22pm on PC EU).

Log in is very slow or tells me error 304 account logged in, errors telling me no valid internet connection etc.

I've been trying to get my character logged in (not in Cyrodill) for about 10 minutes now.

Same here. Was logging out a character earlier, but couldn't log out, so I quit the game. Now I can't get back in -_-

Took a couple of loadingscreen-minutes to ENTER a battleground match... LEAVING the match at the end takes even longer... and it's still lasting...

I was in game, had just looted a safe in Grathwood and was porting to Greenshade to loot one there for the last part of the TG repeatable and wham! Infinite (well 10+ minutes) loading screen, decided to kill the game via task manager, upon relog it told me that I was already logged in. Trying to log in again and now I have an infinite (5 minutes and counting) "requesting login".

@Zos You do know it was only console that was supposed to be taken down for maintenance today right?

Yeah - I relaunched the game...no difference. Log in (password etc) works..but then 'requesting character load....' is pinging the moon.

Finally got back to stonefalls after leaving the BG... trying to queue again for BGs does not work... timer starts to tick for a few seconds, then game kicks me out of queue... trying to requeue again is not allowed because I recently left the queue. LOL

I tried a different character and I now have a loading screen for Deeshan.
My main won't log in though, which is a shame it's my crafter and I would have liked to finish some things

It's taking me over ten minutes to load into House Indoril Crypt. Still not loaded in, waiting for at least ten minutes so far, with no sign of this endless loading screen, actually ending.
