Seems the MegaServer isn't the cause of log in problems, it's running just fine....

Please, fix the PC EU server. The load screens are insane and still ending with disconnects part of the time.

✭✭✭✭n response to the recent long loading screens and related issues that have been happening on the PC/Mac servers since Update 24 launched, we are putting a temporary login queue in place on the PC-NA and PC-EU servers. This login queue will remain in place through the weekend.

Isaura✭✭✭I played this afternoon with no problems, then the game started to get real slow around 6/7 pm (guild store impossible to use, high ping etc) and I got kicked after a long loading screen around 8. It's like that every day since the patch. The server gets overwhelmed by the number of players and dies.

Well for me the server took a nosedive in the last hour or two. Not so much log in screens (those are fairly normal length) but the lag was getting real and all I was doing was overland content. Areas took forever to render after loading, moving ten feet in the game would mean waiting 10-20 for more than building and in the wild the odd shrubbery or tree to be there. The times I ran into a solid obstacle that I couldn't see because it hadn't rendered yet was unreal, and all I did was jog around on foot so moving speed was not the issue.
This has been an issue inc U24 but wasn't before, not to this degree and it gets worse in the evenings. Idk what they did back end but it has made things go from okay to impossible at peak load on the server.
Add to this invisible enemies (because they don't render until after they're dead, or I am), enemies that will strike though I couldn't possibly have aggroed them yet and the annoyingly high number of overland mobs with snares and roots in overland in Southern Elsweyr that belongs to that group so you're forced to fight them. Well, lets say I'd had it for the day. Pelletine is made to be an aggravating overland zone apparently, don't think this is one I'll ever pay to own.0 -
