Worth the wait.

Just had a quick, very quick, gallop around Southern Elswyer. I've not started the quests yet, as there were so many other people there the quest giver, Sai Sahan if the bald head was anything to go bye, was pretty much buried.

It looks great. I literally shouted out loud "Look at that!" to my son when I saw the first Glyptodon

I did kill a few things and had a stab at a dragon (ice I think) and found a lumpy bag that was snoring, a quest starter of some flavour. I'll check it out later in the week.

My Clannfear doesn't seem as squishy as I thought it would be and my horse, far from been broken as I thought it might be, seems to have a lot of stamina.

That said. I'm still getting lag spikes and there is a lot of stuttering and juddering in Southern Elswyer that doesn't happen elsewhere (no pun intended).

Overall, colour me impressed. The art and landscape, as usual, is brilliant.

This is a common issue in any zone that is highly populated, e.g. a new zone on launch day, especially during peak playing hours.

Speaking of waiting. I always wait several days before going into a new zone. So much better when the crowds have died down a little.
