Questions about Necro and bash...

Maybe stupid questions but:

Does Goliath bash AE damage work on skill bashes and manual bash or just manual...I see the ae cone animation with the manual but not with the skill bashes

Does increased weapon damage effect bash damage (a shield is armor and uses armor glyphs).. So does only added bash damage effect the manual and skill damage of bash or does weapon damage also?

By skill bash, do you mean active skills that use the shield? Like power bash or shielded assault? If you are then no. The Goliath bash is only on bash, ie clicking your left mouse button and then right mouse button. Or on console, left trigger then right trigger. Or you could rebind the action to a separate button, if you are on PC, which I recommend.

Yeah... That is what I meant... Thanks... So... I'm assuming added weapon damage increases skill bash and doesn't effect manual bash... And added bash damage only effects manual bash and not skill bash? Or would they effect them?

you assuming wrong, the extra spell and weapon damage only impacts the "manual bash", as you say, really that is called "Interrupt" in the game settings, the "skill bash" that you are talking about are just like every other active skill in the game, they use your weapon damage/max stam to calculate the damage for them, they are not impacted by things like "Glyph of Bashing" or the passive from s/b "Deadly Bash", though does "manual bash" use your base stats as well. it ought to be noted, bashing uses your highest stats now, so your spell and max mag over stam/weapon damage if they are higher, though you will lose ought on mighty and physical pen.


also, what is making you use Ellipsis so much in your paragraph, it is very unnecessary and makes you look like you are just wondering off in your thoughts.

So they are pretty much only good for the Necro ultimate? But high weapon damage and stamina will increase interrupt bash?

They give you like 50% weapon damage then regular weapon damage glyphs, They also give spell damage added to your bash, as I said, which scales with your highest stat. Bashing is off the skill gcd, so you can bash+ use a skill at the same time, adding to DPS. Not saying that a good build would use them, but that is the point of them.
