The skill just needs to be changed to something else. Everyone knew that ZOS wouldn't be able to program their AI to work properly, it has NEVER been that way in the history of the game.
Honestly just redesign it to function similar to shalks, or have it be a delayed PBAOE burst.

I think ZOS needs to be commended for NOT making a new skill just like Shalks etc. Part of the appeal of the Necro is how unique and different some of its skills are, both aesthetically and practically. Lets not bang a drum trying to make Necro just have different versions of other class skills please.
My idea is keep it as is per se, but change it to a direct line of sight flying "spirit", which one assumes would remove pathing issues at least.

I agree, this should be a priority for correction.
Its such a fundamental skill for a necro, because it creates a corpse at the target location, required to buff your Boneyard and execute the tether skills etc.
I think the skill should be changed to a flying "spirit", that flies as the crow does so to speak directly to the target, Im no coder but perhaps that would solve some pathing issues...
Personally I still love playing my magcro dps and my necro tank. Thankfully for me issues with targeting and pathing are not constant and fairly rare.

Yes, simply switch the current spirit mender and blastbones models. Skeleton healer, Spirit Missile. If you use the Archer/Mage you now have two similar looking minions as well.
