simple change to siege needed

I know the subject has been brought up several times but it is time to bring it up again. Players need to be able to take control of their own siege at any time. Common sense means players need to get off siege between shots (heal, clear dots, etc) and while you are off other players constantly jump onto siege that is not theirs. Most MMOs I have ever played that have siege the player who owns/drops the siege can take control even if another player is on.

So once again, please ZOS players need to be able to control their own siege.

    As someone who frequently drops multiple pieces of siege, I'd get behind this if I thought the Cyrodiil servers could handle tracking siege ownership on top of everything else. :lol:

    Maybe once we get those overall performance improvements they keep promising us.

    I vote no. We sometimes put down siege with the expectation that others will be using it. If I see siege that is ready to use and no one is on it I hop on fire and hop back off. With one guild I am usually healing so I can't always keep my own siege going smooth but can step in and fire one that is idle.

    The only time it sucks is when a troll grabs it and then turns it around firing at nothing or just stands there doing nothing.

    Speaking of trolls one could easily drop multiple siege and not use them so it takes longer to bring a door down. We all know this would happen.

    Ownership of siege weapons is obviously tracked, since no one can grab your siege gear and pack it up into their inventory. It would make sense if the owner was always given priority control over the gear. I could also see a function added for being able to pack your weapons away from outside of them.

    The only truly meaningful change to siege behavior I desperately desire is for the siege to properly stack in inventory. I know why it doesn’t today; still I’d prefer to not have 25% of my inventory be filled with siege equipment.

    I wish I could burn friendly sieges, would add some immersion to the game

    And then you get flagged as an enemy and if killed/caught placed in stockades back at one of the main gates and labeled a traitor for 10 minutes. Also players can freely throw mud balls at you and gain AP for it while you are in the stockades.
