I know mounts and their endless stamina has already been discussed in other threads, but I just noticed something and wanted to add to one of the other threads, except it's been closed.
Why am I spending 60 days and 250*60 gold on mount training in Stamina? The description says
allowing your mount to sprint longer and take more hits before you become dismounted.
I'd always read this as "allowing A and B before C," meaning "allowing A before C, as well as B before C," or "allowing your mount to sprint longer before you become dismounted." The way it works now (and since forever?) doesn't even really seem to fit that wording, because the way it works is more accurately described as "allowing your mount to sprint longer and take more hits before taking hits causes you to become dismounted."
I'm not arguing about how it's working, whether it's always been working wrong ("not intended to work that way but embraced after the fact because the players loved it and we wanted to keep them happy"?), or whether it's always been working correctly but the description wasn't stated clearly enough for my literalist programmer's and mathematician's mentality (priority of "and" and such).
No, I'm simply wondering if I'm spending money on riding lessons in the best order. I've always maxed out Carrying Capacity first, then Stamina, then Speed. But if Stamina doesn't actually work the way I'd always thought it did, maybe I should be maxing out Speed before Stamina?
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!
