I know that it might be a while when/if we ever get Sword and Spell as a skill line, but for the time being can you please enable the destruction staff skill line via the Psijic Order gloves. Seeing that they are called Fire/Lightning/Frost anyway, these could be used as a stave substitute until the aforementioned Sword and Spell skill line appears.
The only reason for this post is I hate the fact that my character has to hold a staff, when I should be holding a sword with lightning sparking in my left hand.
Obviously other people have different ideas, this one is mine for the interim.

However... yeah, it really would be neat to have alternatives for magica character weapon selection!

✭Runes, a book, scrolls, wands, a focus of some kind like a gem etc. Lots of options actually that might work better than gloves for your particular desires.
I actually really really want new weapons - runes, and pole-arms are at the top of my list.1
