Shadow’s Cliffshade Pub: The Drunken Elfican

For once a smaller home furnished by me. I decided to base it off of some of the public houses/inns (well less of an inn as there are no beds for people) we see in Eso.

Why is it called the drunken Elfican you ask? Cliffshade is outside a high elf settlement of Marbruk, I jokingly call high elves, Elficans. Everytime I’m fighting in cyrodiil with my friends I often joke to build an Elfican wall and make Tamriel great again.

For those curious I stayed well within the furnishing limits at less than 100 out of 400 items, at some point I may refine this home and add in a few small details, but at the moment I can’t think of what to add, definitely can’t think of how to fill 300+ more spots in this home...

Very nice, this house does well as a tavern. I was thinking about setting up Gardener house as such, but Cliffshade may be a better and cheaper alternative.

As far as what to add, a few things I would suggest are a a rug or two and perhaps some decor for the walls. A few banners, tapestries or pictures perhaps? Altmer tend to like fine art, maybe a few paintings that remind them of Alinor or Summerset Isles? Or some other decorative objects?

The other thing I could think of is some lighting. Not too much, I wouldnt be throwing any Culanda stones in there lol but just some logs for the firplaces with some well sunken torches or braziers to make it softly glow, not a roaring fire.

And perhaps a single small candle on each table gives those seated there an intimate feeling while still being able to see whats in their glass, or on their plate.

Also, since there is a food prep area, maybe a few more scattered food items or plates- and food prep area should probably have better lighting as well. Its probably the most important place in tavern to be able to see what youre doing.

Last thing I would probably add is some wine and liquor bottles stacked together either on the bar or on the wall behind the bar somewhere, with some discreet lighting to make them stand out and catch the attention of bar patrons.

Ah, dont get me started because Ill just keep going- this is probably the main reason why not a single one of my homes is ever finished lol

But still, it looks great so far and youve given me a few more ideas as to how to make my own tavern. Thanks for sharing
