"Hungry Cat" daily in Elsweyr broken?

Yesterday I was attempting to do the daily where you have to put blood on the 4 altars for Hircine, but the altar would never interact with my character. I believe you not only have to kill a few mobs to get the blood, but each altar also has a main mob you must kill before the altar will let you put the blood on it. I waited around 20 minutes at one spot for the mob to respawn, killed it twice, but never got the interactive "E". I moved to another altar and tried again...same problem. I had to abandon the quest. Is this quest broken or just occasionally buggy? I have done it a couple times before but have not run into this problem.

I just finished that one succesfully, didn't pay any attention to special mobs, i just killed everything that came in my way between the altars...

Have you tried a /reloadui?

I can confirm that you do not need to kill special mobs to interact with the altars. However you do need beast blood to activate them. This only drops from the terror birds, harpies, and wolves if I'm remembering correctly, so if you are killing other mobs you may think you should have blood but do not. You can confirm you have blood because the hint to obtain blood changes. If you are sure you have it and still cannot interact with the altar, it is a bug. I've done this quest many times and never had a problem so I'd venture to say it's not a quest issue.

I did in fact have the blood. I checked in my Quest items in inventory and it was there. The quest hint said to put the blood on the altar, but I was not able to do it.

Didn't try the /reloadui thing. Maybe that would have fixed it? I'll try that if it happens next time.

My guess is that the /reloadui will fix it. At some point yesterday, I couldn't see an option to loot a mob I'd killed or gather a nearby rune. After reloading, I was able to get both. Maybe some issue with all the event traffic in Elsweyr.

This was probably the altar that is on some stairs, sort of in the northwest area of Predator Mesa. You have to get behind the altar on the stairs, and move the cursor ever so slightly until it finally lets you interact with it.

Thanks, everyone. The next time I did the quest, it all worked fine. I'll remember the reloading ui, though, in case it ever happens again.

Thanks for that tip. That really is a very tiny spot to find.
