Have you ever been away from the device that lets you play ESO and wish you could play a mobile fishing mini-game for in-game rewards?

With the information provided, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot fishing pole.

What are the benefits?

How does it affect my ESO account and characters?

Is it basically just a mobile version of the fishing you do in game currently?

If you remove the word "fishing" from your idea, I think it becomes better instantly.

I want the fallout shelter game engine, in a elder scrolls explorer type of game.

"TAMRIEL ADVENTURE", is what I would call it.

Edited the title and description to make it specifically about fishing because that is the mini-game I want. If you have a mini-game idea, by all means, suggest it.

Fishing is so boring now but there are "idle" games for mobile. You just turn it on and then come back later.
I would go for that -- find a fishing spot, turn it on, idle, come back, collect fish, find another fishing spot.

A free game is likely worse than one with an up front cost. Look at Elder Scrolls Blades as an example. Mobile games are generally just money milking machines disguised as games. They don't have to be. In theory, you can get great gaming on mobile, but that's just not the reality we live in unfortunately.

I pretty much instantly shutdown any idea that puts the words "mobile" and "game" together in the same sentence. Mobile games have a really lousy reputation and it is sadly a very well deserved one.

An “away app” for eso would be amazing. Fishing is a great suggestion. None of the prizes should be too fancy so people don’t complain they “have to” use it to get ahead, but just something simple. Also it won’t count toward Master Angler achievement. I’d even be happy with Shalidor’s Library on mobile. I’ve always wanted a game to have tie ins with other platforms.

Would you honestly expect it be any less ultra-monetized microtransaction hell than Blades? You get to fish for lootbox rewards and you have to pay to open em (or just wait for days to open your lootboxes free) most likely. Also maybe you can buy special bait for $1, $3, or $10 for change to get special lootbox or invest $10 to $100 for higher level fishing pole which increases change to get higher level lootboxes. And if fishing get boring you can of course buy the lootboxes straight.

If I wanted to play on mobile I'd launch Minecraft or some other dusty and cobwebby game I have already wasting space on my phone.
