So it is very fashionable to diss GOs. But there really aren't that many of them (look around at the ranks of people in cyrodil). It takes 68 million AP. If you earn 50,000 a day on average, every day , day in and out that means it will take you ~ 4 years of daily play to become a GO.
I wonder how the OP reached his conclusions. Did he follow GOs around and gather statistics about their abilities and playstyle? Or did he just see a GO drop dead ? In other words, is this anecdotal musing, or based on a scientific study?
Yes, one of my characters is a GO and has 1175 CP. If you were to watch him in big battles, frequently you see him standing there, doing nothing, while getting attacked by dozens of swarming AD! Then he just drops dead!
Why? Well, at least ~30% of the time in big battles, abilities don't work. I can't break free, I can't dodge roll, I can't move, none of my abilities work. It is the single most frustrating aspect of PvP . When my abilities work, my character does all right and the game is fun. When they don't work, it is free AP for the swarm.
