Moondancer on necro viable?

I was just curious on what people think of moondancer on a mag necro because of the skill where you can activate your own synergy, I know it in no way compares to meta because its or miss on getting the damage buff I kind of wanted to mess around with an off meta build but is it still capable of doing hm dlc dungeons and possibly vet trials?

It’s an interesting idea to not have to worry about relying on synergies from others. IMO the other morph of Boneyard is better though, with Major Breach and Fracture.

Still Moondancer works well as a front bar set, and allows use of something like Mother’s Sorrow on both bars. The RNG aspect of Moondancer can be a little annoying, but the average sustain and damage aren’t too far off from False God’s.

I have been working towards using the ability to proc my own synergies, along with slotting Alkosh ;-)

As soon as I realised this potential I knew I wanted to try it on my Necro tonk, which is almost a dps/tank hybrid, (with heavy emphasis on tanking). But the added ability to proc that Alkosh damage myself, it seems to fit perfectly with tanking, helping the team and raising my own dps... I am looking forward to seeing it in action.

I need 2 more bits of Alkosh for that character. The grind is real.
