BRP + Knightmare Combination

Has anyone considered or seen how Knightmare has improved with the Armor set bonus change. This set triggers often and 8m radius will hit almost everyone in the vicinity.

Stack Minor Maiming with Major Protection, and then use BRP DW set to trigger Major Protection, as needed, with Knightmare for -30% damage taken/enemies deal -15% less damage.

AND... Deadly Cloak will trigger Knightmare. 1 skill = 2 damage mitigating effects.

    Would you rather use an entire 5 piece set or a skill slot? That's the trouble IMO. Even with the armor bonus being less bad...

    It's an option but the pool effect is static every 8 seconds, and can be avoided. Another consideration about Knightmare would be the 360 8m radius minor maiming without CD except the 20% chance. When Deadly Cloak skill hits an enemy with damage (e.g. ball groups) then each hit enemy enables a chance to proc the set versus single target. Shrouded Daggers also triggers the set, for example. Each bounce hit enables a chance to proc.

    And people whine about Steadfast Hero :)
    Imagine what would it be if ZOS employed master theorcycrafters to identify such powerfull synergy effects... the game would be bland and boring.

    Right. Knightmare comes with stamina jewelry (well, rings at least) and you could use 2 pc. heavy for the Undaunted extra stats. I'd have to get onto the PTS; but I suspect Stampede's AOE damage would trigger the set too. That would be useful in BGs when everyone's balled up, and you can pick your initial hit/target. Maybe synergy with other group players.
