So when looking at the eso site I see this gorgeous striped senche raht picture. However I can't find it anywhere in the store? Where is it?! Stop tempting me zos!

After spending many years in a Vrin-Thak adeptorium, this powerful Senche-raht decided it was time to work with someone who regularly goes toward danger. She prefers to learn by watching, however.

The Goutfang Senche-Raht mount is a Crown Gem exclusive and will be available in the Crown Store on all platforms for a limited time from October 10 to October 21 at 10am EDT.

My thoughts too when I saw him. The one and only thing I would have bought hapily from October's offerings and it's gem only. They're really milking this gems only rubbish.

I would have happily bought the striped senche-raht and the pocket watcher if they'd both been available for crowns.
But both for gems ... errrr ... no, ZOS.
I have enough gems saved that I can probably get the mount, but looks like I won't be getting the pocket watcher at all.

This DOES NOT mean the mount will sit and "watch," nor have any observable, "learning,"... Because ya know, there's always someone saying they bought something based on flavor text....

Yeah...the senche-raht looked cool in the datamine picture, but I wasn't sure if I was going to buy it or not. Definitely not now that it's gems exclusive.

But the pocket watcher? I fell in love with that when I saw the datamine. Should have known it would be gems exclusive. Ah well...they're still not going to get me to buy crates. It's all fluff anyhow, so doesn't really matter in the end whether I have it or not. What does matter, however, is the crowns I would save from not buying crates to get this pet. There's nothing in the current season I'd even spend crowns on outright, so it would be a complete waste of crowns to purchase enough crates to be able to extract 100 or so gems.

Using a very high average of 8 gems per crate and assuming you purchased the largest pack of crates, it’d cost 15,000 crowns to get enough for the mount. Also assuming it’s 400 and not the ridiculous 600 they stick other ones at. The equivalent of $100 USD if you buy the largest pack. If it’s 600 gems, it costs 22,500 crowns. Closer to $175 buying the largest packs.

The hiding behind two layers of digital currency sure does its job of making it unclear just how much they’re tagging these 1hour recolors for.
