Dear ESO - You're game has gotten dumb.

It's too bad, but I guess it is the way of all decent MMO's at some point. The developers feel that in order to make a few extra bucks, they will add *** to the game which ends up catering to exploiters and ultimately ruins the game for the majority. Congrats Zenimax you've done it again. Now there are gear sets which allow 1 or 2 people to stave off and ultimately defeat entire armies of players. Gear combos which essentially make certain builds invincible. Of course, there is skill and dedication involved too. But the problem is that most players don't have the time, dedication, and patience to farm the best gear and practice with it 4-8 hours a day which means that all the rest of the ESO PvP population are at the mercy of a small group of dweebs who do have this time. The pvp sucks now, and essentially that is all that this game had, so adios ESO.

I dont get it. Most MMORPG PvPers like to be rewarded when they are more skillful or they theory crafted a really nice build. And you are not happy with that? If you want all to be the same gear I guess MMO PvP is not for you.

able to craft a build that makes you do more damage or survive longer ?

no, we Do Not want that, that is where the developers have failed, is that they allow the ability to create builds like that, is what this thread and topic is about.
you missed the point of the topic.

the question should also include:
are cheats involved?
are there exploits involved in these builds?
are these builds exploit and cheat dependent that zenimax is allowing?

As for your post, there is a marker somewhere in the game for Entropy Rising. A guild that stated in alpha/beta times. Zos added it to the game because a small group from that guild successfully defended a keep against larger numbers for a lengthy period of time. Zos embraced this.

Sorry but nobody is fighting 50 man groups anymore. If 2 people are keeping themselves alive with cooperation, game knowledge and skill while they fight a group of maybe 10 at the most well then if that 2 man group wins they definitely deserve to. It's not easy playing that way and it does take time and effort.

What kind of complaint is "these people put time and effort into the game and know they're stronger and better than me" , duh of course they will be, that's how competition works. Don't cry to the guy who made basketball cause a trained player is dunking on you. Sorry but there is a learning curve.

First thing. People with this mentality need to stop getting all your builds from YouTube. Y’all know it’s true. Know what a lot of more skillful players are using? Their own builds. I can promise you they aren’t putting videos of their builds online most of the time.

Second thing. Skill should matter. There are people who can face tank 12 people because of several factors and one of those factors being knowing their class. There are people who 1vX and use LoS and clever positioning and good target selection to widdle down the enemy force until the 1vXer is the victor. Now I won’t *** anyone, a couple classes out their certainly over perform. Since ZoS like to change things every 3 freaking months you never know which class it’s going to be!

PvP should always be about skill. A good player can use a subpar build and still beat a bad player, because the bad player is bad. Simple as that. People get mad because they think because they put the time in to farm the gear they are “owed” kills in cyrodiil. That’s not how it works nor should it ever work that way.

Wait! Which sets? The new ones? Ha ha ha ha ha aha ha ha ha ha... Allrright. Maybe I am wrong. Maybe they can be OP. Come on. Prove it to me. Use Build Editor to theorycraft an OP PvP build that uses those sets. Just remember to call me by name when you respond.

This. I've seen some really good two to three player groups completely dominate fights with ten to twelve player groups. They really know the game and coordinate very well.

It can be a beautiful thing to see, even when I'm in the twelve player group. ah well

Even if you don’t have the time to practice over time you will get better if you stick to 1 class. There is also guides on YouTube to help you 👍
