Overload:
This ability and its morphs no longer grant a third ability bar when toggled on.
Weapon abilities can now be used while in Overload mode, and are no longer hidden.
You can no longer generate any Ultimate while this ability is toggled on.
You can now toggle this on when you have 25 Ultimate or more, previously 75 Ultimate.
Light and Heavy Attacks are now off the global cooldown and can be woven with other abilities.
Decreased the damage of the Light Attack by approximately 50%.
Increased the damage of the Heavy Attack by approximately 60%.

Scalebreaker
Overload: Reduced the damage dealt of this ability and its morphs’ Heavy Attack by approximately 25% per tick. The radius of these attacks will now properly respect their telegraphs, and have been reduced to the following;
Overload and Energy Overload: 4 x 6 meters, down from 4 x 15 meters
Power Overload: 6 x 8 meters, down from 6 x 15 meters

I want to light weaving during OL , ZOS nerfed it .
I want to heavy attack a pack of mobs , ZOS nerfed it .

ZOS , could you tell me what to do with this skill ?

    I was worried about it too but didn't feel much difference today after the console patch.

    Using power overload on a non-pet heavy attack build:

    Light attacks were critting around 11k weaved with imbue weapon (haven't morphed it yet) and heavies were still melting everything, saw at least one 18k.

    It's even worse, because when Overload is toggled on (even if you are not attacking with it) it completely kills ultimate generation.
    This is particularly bad in PvP, because you also lose out on 20 ultimate per player killed, in addition to the normal regen rate from being actively in combat.

    The closest that OL came to being actually usable was between Elsweyr and Scalebreaker, where it was viable for nuking faction stacks in Cyro using a highly specialized build - not unlike bomb builds in terms of how inflexible it was.

    The Scalebreaker damage "nerf" was actually a buff - at the same time ZOS fixed the bug where Overload HA did not interact with Off-Balance, so even with the "nerfed" damage it can still do more damage than it used to do before, when used against Off-Balance targets.

    But the HA range has been nerfed to nothing, so it's once again trash now :D

    True about the damage lol. Also using streak as gap closer more than repositioning.

    Perhaps it was a stealth Magicka melee add...

    This ultimate was officially extinct the day ZOS removed the 3rd skill bar.
