When did they change the "pull in/pillar of nirn" move in Falkreath?

Was there a reason for the change to Domihaus' pull-in/pillar of nirn move that he does? The one where you have to walk slowly backwards from the center. Granted I haven't done Falkreath in a while and havent seen it in any patch notes lately. They already nerfed Falkreath hard once but this change makes no sense. Now he just picks you up and drops you wherever you are and you have to walk slowly while the pillar of nirn things form under you. It completely threw off how I used to battle Domihaus, dammit! Oh well, it'll take some getting used to I guess.
