Stack size

Some items have outdated stack sizes, like soul gems, lockpicks, etc... Do you (devs) have plans on changing them?
Suggestions:
  • Carapace/Foul Hide/Ectoplasm/Elemental Essence/Daedra Husk/Supple Root: 100 -> 200+ (reason: cwc crow daily quest items).
  • Soul Gem (full and empty): 200 -> 500+ (reason: tons of them from everywhere (crafting dailies, daily dungeon rewards, etc))
  • Keep Door Repair Kit / Keep Wall Masonry Repair Kit / Siege Repair Kit: 100 -> 500+ (reason: takes too much space, 100 is definitely low value for 1 stack, we need 200 at least)
  • Crafted Drinks / Meals: 100 -> 200+ (reason: why not standard value of 200?, will it hurt?)
Cyrodiil battle tools/machines takes too much space. I suggest to create something like `battle wagon`, special storage bag only for cyro toys. It could be available in crown store for ~2500 crowns or so. Reason of adding such bag? All cyro toys are useless outside of cyro and takes a lot of space...

Wouldn’t mind potions being stacked by the thousand either, certainly takes up a lot of bank space when you have a stock of a few different potions for all of your toons to withdraw.

And I would love for siege machines to be stackable across the board like keep repair kits currently are.... although zos may have intentionally made them not stackable so players are forced to stock up/prepare for seiges more frequently than once a month.

siege machines have their own HP, thats why they cannot be stacked.

No they don't. Zos sells ESO+, the main feature is the craft bag.

it would be also cool to increase raw and refined resource stack sizes to 400-500. I have eso+ and i buy resources from guild stores (for daily writs). I usually buy tons of them. And it becomes pain to click and buy them all stack by stack, to process mail, etc...

Everything should stack like poisons do.

There should be no limits. Just like in the crafting bag

In theory yes, but in real it should be fair at least.
Because crafting bag is one of the money sources for supporting servers, etc...
By creating this topic i wanted to point at some out-of-date items that require new stack sizes.

And second, optional: it would be just a little bit good QoL improvement if refined mat stack size becomes 200 -> 400 or 500?

PS: Also, I cant understand the mythic reason of bank size limit numbers. Why it is: 240 (base) -> 480 (eso+). Why not 250? I am just curious, not whining.

ESO+ has nothing to do with this. I'm perma subscriber. Crafting bag replaces bank, not your inventory. However because I'm addicted trader these limits cause my annoyance. At least there should be no stack limit when you sell items in the guilds store. Also it takes unnecessary space in the guild banks.

They really need to audit their list of items and let some stuff stack.
Like Unmarked Sacks containing the monk costume. If you have one and you're a good enough thief/assassin you rarely get caught, you're just destroying all the others and you've wasted a day's delivery.
And event Style Pages. Not only do they stack but you have to use a weird workaround to move them to an alt because you can't put them in storage.

At the moment it is almost impossible to play the entire game with the inventory benefits of ESO+.

There should be an unlimited stack size for anything that stacks, arbitrary size limits are an offence (given they are just a number in a database and there are no performance related issues that restrict them).

There should be some kind of container (taking up 1 inventory space) to contain non-stackable items like alliance seige weaponry.

    Anything else is just rubbish.

Every further improvement of inventory will be exclusivly for crowns/sub.

Probably. It's hard for ZOS to not want to milk the inventory cash cow when so many other games are doing it. Inventory is super brutal in NWO compared to ESO.
And in early MMOs, they used inventory space as a game-currency-sink -- often you had to pay an escalating cost per slot. Here we pay per 10 slots and that's very generous and cheap.

If they let us use gold do improve inventory and were aggressive in the escalating costs, even more than it is now, they'd take a lot of gold from the system.
But there's only so much they can do before a Crown Store item becomes cheaper via gifting. We'll see how much their new inventory pet idea costs in the Crown Store...
