Reshade "remastered" mode?

Many of us use reshade to make the game look much better (IMO of course) than the vanilla one where everything is really grey, desaturated, and very little contrast. if you even stare at the sunset, you can still seee everything, while if you did that in real life, most of the other things get really dark for example, almost silhouettes.
Reshade worls really nice and it's definitey made me enjoy the game a lot more, the only bad side is that I have to keep changing presets dependig on the setting so it looks good. so I have a great preset for sunny days, for sunsets, for rainy days, for dark dungeons, for nights, etc.
Why not include some kind of remastered mode (it's how blackd esert online named it) with some reshade like effects, but being already built in, it would probably autotune itself for the different settings.
Here are some examples of various reshade presets people have done.

of course there will always be people who don't like it, and prefer the regular version, it's why I'm suggesting an optional remastered mod (or whatever name you would want to name it of course) for those interested without bothering those who prefer it to stay the same. :)

Use Mips -3 and set the internal engine to render 4K resolution.
Also if you have Nvidia GPU you need to go to 2 places on the settings and open the full spectrum of RGB to be shown. Not the cut down version which is set default. You will see better colours.

Reshade makes the game look so much better I almost regret making the switch to PS4.

I'm planning to make a high end gaming PC soon, maybe I'll restart on PC as well, just because of the graphics. And well I miss add-ons.

Brighter and crisper doesn't always means better. Speaking from an artistic perspective. Dimmer. And darker shades are often used to hide things. Brightening up like before reveals details take away from what was done.

Best example is in the OP's own set. Just look at the brick walk way. The darker show realism in a high fantasy setting that the environment looks livable and lived in with the wear and shading done in a unique depth. While the "improvement" removes the realism and takes the livable and lived in feel to a waterwashed mishmash of countering tones. No fluid shades or tones. Shadowing done all wrong and feels matted in contrast to the brightness and overlapping detail exposed that were made to give the original design and concept its look, not to mention the after effects of when active environmental factors start to come in to play (i.e: weather) often muddy up the brightness and crispness to unview able an unviable levels.

Taking that away is a self imposed censorship, most artists, no matter their medium and genre tend to avoid that, ameture, professional, independent / freelance.

I've never seen an image using Reshade that looks better than the original.

It almost makes me think that those who believe Reshade makes the game look "better" actually have some sort of vision problem like mild colorblindness, or some other problem that makes things look washed out.

Lol the original game looks like trash compared to the reshade :D ... every time I turn reshade off It looks like a game from 2008 ... but hey 100 people 100 tastes or I dont know how it is said in english :D

It's too much oversaturation like most reshades people post. Makes me wonder if people have heard of the phrase "Less is more."

The only graphic changer/reshader I'd ever use ( if I were to use it) would be one that made nights and dark areas like caves, old ruins etc darker. Maybe not completely pitch black, I play Dragon's Dogma if I want to fumble around in the dark and kill monsters. But at least darker than it is. Too many rpgs these days make their nights too light, so it's more a stormy/cloudy day than a night.

    I agree with @SkerKro
These are from ingame engine without reshade. Unfortunately Imgur compresses the images from the original 14mb so they aren't as good as they look on screen. Yet @craybest they do not try to make the game look like WoW.

    K7yps2n.jpg

And I was referring to SET MIP_LOAD_SKIP_LEVELS "-3" before

Yes the above are from game engine without post processing. :)

I honestly like the mellow look of the elder scrolls games, they really set a scene and you don’t feel like you are looking at a cartoon. There are we plenty of colorful areas but I think scenery is one of the things eso does very well.

I don't use reshaders, and I find from looking at the pictures (as well as earlier ones posted by other forum users) that they usually trade off fine detail for cartoonish saturation and contrast. Not my cup of tea, but if that's how you roll, more power to you.

I have no idea why people think reshade is good, most examples over saturate, like bloom on acid, or apply an over the top blue filter.

The better options are monitor quality, IPS over TN panel etc. Do some research into panels types, check them out at a store. No good paring a decent video card with a sub par monitor without good black levels or colour reproduction.

You are better of using the software that comes with your card, either Nvidia or ATI.

Reshade is also banned from e-sports and competitive gaming, having it installed on your PC can get you a temporary ban as a warning. Reshade is a top dog for getting third party injection code, i.e. cheats into games.

there are of course certain settings where the duller and greyer look are better, like inside a cave, when it's raining, etc. but i can assure you that in regular settings on a clear day, you'll look at the scenery and most things are very vibrant, the trees, the grass, the sky. or a sunset a sunset ,s BRIGHT orange and reds, and purples, not nearly as grey as this game is without reshade.
the grey washed look as always been one of the things people have commented on the past on TESO. that's why I propose it being optional, so those who want more vibrant and contrast colors can have them and those who prefer the more greyed washed out ones can have them too.

The real issue here is that you're still not running the game at 1440p or higher.
