What? Don’t think this skill is OP atm. Sure, it deals more damage than most spammable but it has 1s cast time. Don’t see why this skill should be deleted just cause some people use it to finish off their ganks and you got no clue how to react.

You want to kill someone in PVP with 1 snipe?
I can see what you mean. I wouldn’t want it to be a must have skill. but I think it should be a more tactical skill. Snipe builds rn can never kill an average enemy with 1 snipe. It may be controversial but I think snipers should be able to. (On super squish builds) the elsweyr change basically made it so you could stack snipes over and over but with less damage, resulting in the same dps but lower burst potential. Think about it. Sniper should be able to pick of targets quickly, from long range. This does not mean 2-3 snipes and silver leash/PIProperly applied with other skills and LA, snipes can already hit very hard. Seems like you are advocating for a one shot snipe which wouldnt be healthy for this MMO.
As someone with 3 of his 5 PvP chars being NB, and 4 of 5 being bow users on at least one bar, I vote a big no to buffing it in a vacuum.
It is a solid option as is with clear pros and cons to spending a bar slot on (I use it on one NB for example). Buffing it risks it becoming a must have skill.

Less like a spammable, glitchy mediocre damage skill
So first I think that it needs a MAJOR damage buff (to make it more like a proper snipe) but I think it should have a longer cast time to balance. Basically so you can’t stack snipes before the 1st one lands.
It should be a high damage, long range, and precision skill that can kill a player very fast. Not something that you stack in midair on 1 target.
For the salty ones here are some counters to snipe:
-dodge roll (it’s super effective!)
-cloak
-damage shields
-block

This idea is interesting. Would make bow main builds better for pvp. Maybe 1 morph could have a shorter cast and more mobility while the other would be for gankingActually opposite of what needs to happen. Cast time needs to be reduced to like .5 or .8 seconds and the self snare removed. Perhaps lower its damage a little but flatten its arc and lower its travel time to help with desync and make it useful for skirmisher bow builds so the skill is useful for classes other than gankblades. Rename it power shot or something. Delete volley or arrow spray and give the bow line some utility skill that synergizes with it in both pve and pvp.
