Murkmire Torchbugs

Do torchbugs in Murkmire ever drop anything besides insect parts, like torchbugs everywhere else do? I never get any torchbug thorax from them.

They don't. It's one of those little things you 100% expect ZOS to overlook when creating a new zone and they never disappoint.

Well, the torchbugs in Murkmire are red instead of green, so to be honest it wouldn't really make sense for them to drop a green torchbug thorax. Maybe that's the developers' reason?

And as far as a lore reason, I guess we could say that they're a different type of insect that just happens to be called by the same common name as the green torchbugs.

It doesn't make sense for butterflies to only have one wing or for crabs to drop fur, but they do.

Yep, all those other things don't have me worried.

I'd been wanting to ask about the torchbugs since shortly after Murkmire was released, but it kept slipping my mind whenever I visited the forums. I was just back in Murkmire last night to finally collect all of the skyshards there, so that reminded me to ask.

And now, back to our regularly-scheduled brouhaha, already in progress...
