Questing idea

I think ZoS should add an option to the game thanks to which Player could choose to block quests that shouldn't happened to his/her character in this certain point of story to create an illusion of meaningful progression. For example, if you choose this new option while playing new char, you will not met Stuga, that Imperial NPC which gives you murkmire quest, note in every mages guild hall that is a part of Summerset prologue or Alessio Guillon who is part of morrowind prologue quest. It is very confusing, especialy for new players, to start few different stories while for example, starting your adventure in Daggerfall. Also, if ppl could choose which story they should go first, rather then beginning from the newest chapter, that could be a nice QoL update for questers (and not only them, I can see a huge crowd of thankful players who can finally do they thing in cities without hearing "'Do you know how long I've been looking for you?"

I think they should implement am 'Adventure Board' that compiles all the quests instead of them being all over the place.

They should put this board into a central area in the major cities, and it would have a bunch of notes pinned to it. They could also put a 'Town Crier' NPC next to it to make it more immersive, and you could chat to them to explain what it all is. The Crier would have a voice line like 'Adventurers wanted! See our job board for many adventure opportunities!' or something, and you could pick up all starter quests through the same menu by 'browsing notes' on the adventure board.

'Explorers needed for an expediton to Murkmire!'
'Unprecedented opportunity to visit the Summerset Isles!
-> Read the details on the leaflet
--> 'Queen Ayrenn requests your aid in important matters in the newly opened province of Summerset Isle. A boat leaves regularly from most major cities. Seek out the Eye of the Queen, Razum-dar, when you reach the beautiful city of Shimmerene.'
---> No I changed my mind, let's look for some other adventure (back to main list)
    'Adventurers wanted in glorious Orsinium!'
-> Read the details on the leaflet
--> 'Forge-Mother Alga, in the name of the mighty King Kurog, invites you to test your mettle in the wilds of Wrothgar. To begin your journey, find Ambassador Lazgara in one of the following cities: Daggerfall, Davon's Watch, or Vulkhel Guard.'
---> I should meet the Ambassador (Quest is accepted, quest pin is marked on map)

That would help new players (and old players who forgot where the quest givers are or don't know about starting quests from Collections direcly) and make it clear how to start content. Because I think the main issue is that there's a ton of quest pins with nobody telling you what they are for and whether you should take them or not.

I know a new player who kept dying in a Craglorn Group delve only because he ended up in Craglorn and I guess he took some zone quests there that took him into that delve, because the Clockwork City intro questline sent him to Craglorn, because he picked it up in the Mage's Guild... poor thing thought he was doing the Mage's Guild main quest line and didn't understand why he kept dying  Anyway it's very easy to fall down a rabbithole in ESO especially with all those quest givers all over the place just waiting for you to get sidetracked.

Alternatively, if the Adventurer's Board would be too much or too hard to implement, they could add a title to the quest starter NPCs. The Star-Gazer Herald should have 'Craglorn messenger' under his name, Stuga should have 'Orsinium messenger', etc...

    Fine ideas I think.

I'd even settle for doubling how many you could put in your questlog from 25 to 50 so you could accept quests as you find them then ignore them till ready. An enhancement to that would be to designate quests as 'not now' or 'maybe later' in your quest log which would move them to a different section of your quest log and remove any associated quest markers from your map & compass.

Considering the game used to lock you into one alliance until you finished the main story line and had leveled up to 50 then removed that barrier a few years ago I seriously doubt Zos will bring that back.

Yes, I know OP is not asking for that, but a voluntary lock which we already have merely by looking at the internet and maybe asking a guild member in game. A new player would need to go through this anyhow to know what to lock.

I am not arguing with the OP's idea, just pointing out the reason I doubt it would be added. It is good to suggest things.
