Music score with Scalecaller

I just have to throw this out. The music score, since Scalecaller release, is terrible. I'm talking about the music score when you first log in the server and characters. It is just loud and is a racket. I have to mute each time I log into the game and with each character login through the long loading screen. I hope the dev can improve with next patch or update with more inviting music score. During in-game play is fine. I have the music volume in option down lower, but seems the volume option doesn't affect when you first login or with the character login; it is just loud and annoying. I enjoy the music score when questing in Wrothgar and Orsinium. It is soothing and inviting there. We need more like that. Although, would be nice to have the opening and login music be more soothing and inviting.

So assuming that you mean Scalebreaker, not Scalecaller, the music still didn't change with that patch. Should still be the Elsweyr chapter theme. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Anyway, sorry you don't like one song in the game. It's not my favorite rendition of the TES series themes, but I appreciate the effort they put into the different cultures and their respective music styles and enjoy the sound of it. I definitely think your solution of muting the game while logging in is the ideal way to handle it; as I'm sure you understand that expecting change to a large piece of music, official theme of a chapter, the production of which is long past, because some people subjectively can only perceive it as bad, is quite unrealistic.

That said, it is a definite shame that we 'lose' the old chapter themes as time goes on, so getting to pick between them would definitely be nice and appreciated by many.

Yes. You're right. It is the Elsweyr chapter theme. Only been back to the game this past month. So, still trying to figure out where we are at in the story/lore line. However, with someone unfortunate enough to have hyperacusis, this current chapter theme is quite horrendous. Would be nice if they can randomize the music theme or something and not have the current theme to play each and every login time.

Morrowind was better. It had a bit of flare in the theme where it got loud for a few, but there was also a soothing part to it. I believe the logging in chapter theme for Morrowind was randomized. This Elsweyr is just a loud rendition set to start each time at logging in.
