Like Yokuda, Atmora, Akaviri etc :)
I mean we have already been in Clockwork, Coldharbour even Artaeum.
After the map is complete...
It would be super exciting.
I always wondered what is beyond Tamriel

I would love to but my biggest concern is that the major lore development is from ZOS then not from Bethesda i assume. They will assists for sure i guess but you know what i mean. Nonetheless did ZOS a pretty good work with the Lore so far for example the Khajiit one. Would be nice to see a Elder Scrolls: Akaviri before ESO makes a Zone for it but we will see.

I read that some regions are not habitable but maybe we could see some small groups, tribes

I'd love to see Akavir, although it would have to be spread over many different releases, it's supposed to be at least as big as Tamriel.

I'd like to see all of Tamriel make it into the game as well though, and I'm worried that if we start going off to other continents first that might not happen.

I dont know what would fit (timeline/lore wise) Yokuda could be cool, could meet the left handed elves, but it sank in 1E 792. Just depends how they would do it really, does eso even acknowledge these other places and races? Would have been less than 20 years since the 'snow demons' took the ruby throne, I don't know how long they supposedly held it for but apparently it wasn't very long according to eso.

Yokuda and Atmora are wastelands, so they'd be boring as there wouldn't be any drama.

Pyandonea is "enemy territory" for the Altmer, so they wouldn't be able to visit there.

Akavir is almost semi-mythical in the lore. If we ever go there, it'll be in the mainline games.

    Most likely!

Once they do complete all of tamriel... there are a great many other options! Expeditions to sample the akaviri culture, brave the frozen wastelands of atmora, see the sunken shores of yokuda, chance the treacherous high seas to search for the mist-hidden isles of pyandonea, perhaps even look for the lost lands of aldmeris...

Well, and of course there are always loads of options concerning daedric and other demiplanes. Always worth a visit, those.

I don't really think the people at ZOS would run out of options in that regard anytime soon...

    Yeah, riiiigghhht.
    Ever played "FallOut"? :p;)

Wastelands can be -full- of drama, with the right plot... in fact, they could even make those lands as expansion with throughout-the-map survival mechanics...

...like Atmora could be "freezing cold" like a certain mountaintop in the rift all across the map, making people dash from fire to warm cave and desperately cling to limited-duration magical heating stones as to not freeze their ... uhm... delicate body bits off.

...like yokuda could be mostly underwater, requiring loads of potions of water-breathing or rings enchanted with the effect. Except for argonians of course, who would finally be able to laugh at all other adventurers with gusto!
Pyandonea is "enemy territory" for the Altmer, so they wouldn't be able to visit there.
Yeah, as if that ever stopped player characters.
Technically Orsinium is "enemy territory" for pact and dominion characters. DC races can play through pact lands while the DC invasion is going on in bleackrock, bal foyen and stonefalls, and AD characters while their fellow altmer, bosmer and khajiit are busy with genocide in shadowfen. Imperials can quest in reapers march and bangkorai despite those lands being invaded by imperials. Et cetera...

It -would- however be really, really nifty if they made pyandonea, and then made a special mechanic that doubles all the loops altmer characters have to jump through for story progression, because everyone there pretty much hates them with a passion...
Akavir is almost semi-mythical in the lore. If we ever go there, it'll be in the mainline games.
I have to agree with that one. Not to mention, akavir is a whole continent of tamriel-size... a bit too big for an expansion, right?

    But...

...we know from the lore about the empires attempted invasion into akavir in the third era (about 600 years in the future of ESO) that there -are- three islands between the continents of Tamriel and Akavir, Esroniet, Yneslea and Cathnoquey, which would obviously be in akaviri hands at this time in the second era (as the lore mentiones a very akaviri-sounding ruler surrendering them in the third era...), and almost certainly have been the staging areas for the akaviri invasion that gave birth to the Ebonheart Pact ten years before ESO...

...and thus would make a -perfect- zones for a shiny new expansion someday, following our characters there to find out the story behind that invasion, meet the akaviri races and culture (and on occasion, kill them), do loads of questing (there is much that could be stole... uhm... "borrowed" from eastern myth and tales to make some quests with an entirely new feel I reckon), and resolve whatever was behind it before another (which might already be in preperation - it would be nice to have an expansion with a purely -mundane- mainquest plot sometime in between all the daedric plots and ancient mystical threats) kicks off...

Moreso as we have no lore-fixed locations for those islands yet, so they could plausibly be widely different. Start with meeting some friendly Tang Mo traders who might serve as your guides and transportation, visiting the less friendly Ka Po'Tun on the lush tropical southern isle, proceed to meet the Tsaesci on the arid, mountainous middle one, end up dealing with the Kamal preparing for a new invasion on the snowy northern one?

I'd buy such an expansion in an heartbeat if they made it!
