I recorded the new houses from eso live tonight for friends, the sound is a bit off because my new headset doesn't seem to know what to do when it's switched off :D But if you don't mind a little white noise (You have been warned about that! Haha!) Then the new houses from the stream are below :)

I had to laugh that they asked permission after they went to the house. :)

I'm rather going for the Senchal house. Much more modest.

i dont like houses anymore that are too big...they just feel empty amd take way too lomg to decorate...unless they come up with new activities that you can implement in your house....

    I don't like divine-temple sized houses :/
Ok it is good to have space like mansion, manor etc but these are too much

Yes, it is just the Quin'rawl peninsula, so the Tenmar Forest and the cities of Torval and Corinth are missing. Presumably there will be a "Central Elsweyr" zone at some point in the future.

It's the same size as the other DLC zones. If anything, it looks bigger due to the verticality.

And the city is very nicely designed. It doesn't feel like a tiny village.

Thanks for sharing the recorded version! I was really hyped during the stream when they were debating whether or not they can show it, lol. Lucky for us, they did.

I'm also really happy about the Senchal house - really wish we got one like that in Rimmen! But better late than never, nice medium sized houses are always welcome!

But I can't help but feel very disappointed that all we got so many Elsweyr-style houses instead of something more exciting. We got the Sugar Bowl Suite, Jode's Embrace, and Lucky Cat Landing (which are the inn, medium and large Elsweyr wood-style homes), Moon-Sugar Meadow, the Hall of the Lunar Champion and the Potentate's Retreat (which are the empty custom ruin, large ruin and ruins-with-water Elsweyr stone-style homes).

It just feels like there is too much repetition in theme and style, Southern Elsweyr really doesn't look much different from Norhtern Elsweyr, so all the homes feel like they're slight variations on the same thing competing with each other rather than complementing each other. I can't see myself (and I imagine a lot of other people) buying several of these houses when they fulfill the same functions (i.e. if you want an Elsweyr style wood home you either get J'sE or the LCL, if you want a large ruin you either get P'sR or HotLC or build a custom one at MSM).

There's only one Hew's Bane style house and it's a huge mansion, there's only one Orsinium style house and it's an open mountain, only one Hlaalu house and only one Dwemer house that's just a snowy platform; yet we get so many Elsweyr homes it seems like a total waste with very little market for them since they overlap so much and fulfil the same niche. Just my personal opinion of course, but the Elsweyr style seems really oversaturated, and I'm sad that we don't get anything more interesting. Ah well, I guess I'll be saving some Crowns so there's that

I thought it actually looked quite large for a DLC zone. Remember when we first saw the elsweyr zone how everyone complained that it looked the size of a postage stamp? I was one of them until I actually played and realized that it's actually pretty good size and that it would take quite a bit a time to travel around.

I also learned that it's not the size of the zone that matters, it's what's in it. Would you rather have a giant zone with most of it mountains and fields that takes forever to get anywhere, or a smaller now dense zone with something around every corner?
