Confusing visuals of tooltips for templars

I mained a stam dk for a long time. The visuals of DK tooltips are quite unique and its easy to distinguish them from each other. On my Templar i have major issues with abilities just looking yellow and its quite difficult to know whats what. I guess its an issue since i have very little experience with the class.

I guess my question is, does it get easiere after a while or are poeple using addons that change the way the abilities look?

I mostly worry about my longer buffs/debuffs. For me this includes Extended Ritual, Channeled Focus and Elemental Drain. If you use Structured Entropy as your source of Major Sorcery, that would fit in there as well. (I realize that EleDrain shows up on the boss as a debuff instead of on your buff bar.) Because Channeled Focus is the shortest of my buffs (at 20 seconds), I want to refresh all my buffs at around 20 seconds. So I therefore focus on what the Channeled Focus buff symbol looks like and that is the only timer I pay any attention to (no buff bar addons). Since that is the only one I really focus on, I've trained myself to pick it out easily from among the other 'yellow' buff symbols.

Anyway, that has helped me in trying to keep my longer buffs/debuffs up.

Buff/Debuff tracking in this game is just horrible all around.
