Resolved: Your quest log is full (PC NA)

As shown in the screenshots below, the character's Journal does not record more than 6 Crafting Writs before refusing to accept the seventh. If the character obtains the 3 Consumable Writs first, then the Equipment Jewelry Writ cannot be accepted. If the character obtains the 4 Equipment Writs first, then the Consumable Alchemist Writ cannot be accepted. Notes:

1. The error occurs while obtaining writs from the Crafting Writ Notice Boards in Alinor, Summerset. It has not occurred with three other characters while obtaining writs from Notice Boards in other zones.
2. The error occurs without any add-on(s) loaded. Of course, it also occurs while add-ons are enabled for the character.
3. The error began occurring after the patch on September 2, 2019 (v. 5.1.8) although the screenshots are dated September 9, 2019.

It’s because you are at 25/25 quests in your quest log (according to your screen shots). To fix it, delete or complete a quest and you shouldn’t have any problems picking it up. You can only have 25 quests going at a time.

Thank-you!! I overlooked that "Your quest log is full" meant the entire Journal. I thought it meant only the Writs in the Crafting category. In almost 5 years of playing TESO, this is the first time that any of my characters has reached the limit of 25 quests in the Journal. I never had a reason to realize that there is a limit, so I overlooked that there is a tally at the top of the list of quests ("Quests 25/25").
