When I recently grouped there I had 20 bag spaces ahead of time, by the time we got the end boss down, Clivia, my bags were full. I didnt even have time to bring out my merchant and sell gear, before i was forcibly moved out by the system. Its bad enough that you eventually get forced out after a minute or so, but not being able to sell at all is crap. At least other games send you the loot you should have got in the mail (HINT) so if your bags are full you can still get your stuff.

Honestly, 20 slots is not much space left in your bags. Also, the game does prioritize new additions near the top, so you can quickly dump stuff. Not sure what platform you're on, but if you're on PC, you can directly keybind your merchant to a single keystroke to speed things up even further.

While I'm entirely sympathetic to players who have issues completing quests because the rest of their PUG bails before the final theater sequence finishes, and they can't complete the dialog. The other side of that is, you are asking other players to stop and wait for you. So, going in with nearly full bags is a little inconsiderate of you.

That said, I hope you did, at least, loot your tickets, or they're just gone for today.

I can't feel too sorry for you. 20 bags space is just... Well, no bag space. It was your fault. Why did you queue before cleaning bag? And if you did clean it, what kind of stuff you have that you're taking at the absolutely very least 50 listed items? My PvP toon has so much crap in his bag and it's still at 40...

Good etiquete is to not waste people's time. I hope you didn't lose anything too important and learned this lesson. Clean ahead, always.

I still get tel-var and key fragments in IC even if inventory is full who has happened a couple of times as i forget to sell at base so tickets should be safe.
But if you use auto loot you should have 50 free slots then entering an dungeon or trial.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

I don't even loot most of the chests and nonsense stuff that bosses drop. Only purple jewelry to deconstruct and get zircon grains.

Do tickets not get counted as currency for autoloot? If not that's the takeaway here, they should be like gold in that you just press "r" and call it a day, even with full bag space.

The tickets do work like currency, I believe - but you will have to click on the body (for this event) to pick them up. If you try to sort through inventory or sell to a merchant before you loot the tickets, you run the risk of being removed from the instance while still in your menu. That said, the OP mentioned nothing about tickets either way, so it seems the concern is that there isn’t a longer grace period before removal once a player is dropped from group to account for storage concerns. (50 free spaces at the start is a good goal, though you may need more for Volenfell.)

Prepare yourself before PUGing. Instead of just waiting 20 minutes or so for PUG, prepare your inventory, fix your gear, reload your weapons/poisons, check your skill bars (leveling skills, hybrid bar skills etc).

You get 30 seconds or so to click your quick barred merch, sell max four things, and auto loot

    That’s plenty of time tbh

Same thing happened to me the other day on that dungeon (couldn’t loot the final boss and missed looting one of the former bosses due to the group racing ahead). At least I *did* get the chance to pull out my merchant at the end because I’d joined the group finder already grouped with my husband, so nobody was getting left alone in there. But I find it super irritating when I’m joining solo, get stuck with a rush-rush-rush group, and get kicked out of the dungeon before I’m ready to leave.

Why ZOS hasn’t fixed this problem after all the complaints over the years remains a mystery to me.

Or... empty your inventory before stepping in a dungeon?

I am starting to get really annoyed by people constantly lagging behind because they have to make room every couple of minutes.

You should always go prepared if you are going to hoard stuff.
Put merchant out as soon you land on the dungeon.

20 bag space? You should have your inventory empty of everything you don't need before doing a dungeon.

Why didn't you clear out your bags at some point before the final boss fight, takes a few seconds to check your low on space and a few more to ask your group to stop for a few moments for you to vendor or dump stuff in your bank.

20 bag space is too low if you intend to loot. you should have prepared better.

Totally with you that the time for removal needs to be lengthened or removed altogether. That said, banker > merchant. You can just dump whatever in the bank quickly and sort it later (unless bank is full too). I'm not sure why people sell anything, other then ornate items, anyway. You can make more money, or get more use, from the raw mats you get from deconstruction then the 30 gold for selling it outright. But my SO does it too, so there's that.

Quickslotting any of the assistants is possible on either console.

I'm the husband in question. I PUG a lot more than @DarcyMardin does. That happens to have been one of the worst rush-ahead groups I've ever experienced, in part because there are multiple fights in ICP where you're locked out if you don't arrive in time, which seems like a stupid and unnecessary design element in the first place.

But yeah -- if the group is rushing ahead without you, then there's also no ettiquette barrier to keeping your banker or merchant out and never putting them away.

I kinda like the "lock out" mechanic. See, I pug a lot, and mechanic is the ultimate "I told you so" when hasty people Sprint ahead so stupidly and jump in without a tank for example. When they die, it's when they learn.
