"I just want my tickets!"

Dear people who whine about PvP zone being PvP zone.
You just want your two tickets and I just want to kill you. Thus it seems that we have a conflict of interest. Let me think how we can solve it... Hmmm... We could vote - no, no, no - this isn't democracy. Or we could sit down and talk about our feelings... but I don't give a soaring fournication under command of king about your feelings and I don't expect anything else from you stranger.

I know! We can fight! If I win I get to kill you. If you win, then you get your tickets... unless I hunt you down before that boss of yours respawns.
Either way we both get experience. And I'm not talking about the virtual experience, but the real thing.
So stop crying, stop whining. And if you came unprepared then at least use your brain. You have a simple problem: "there are enemy players on your route to the boss".
- "But I'm a PvEr!"
What? What do you mean by that? That you can't be expected to solve simple problems? Oh, wait - have you just assumed that all PvErs are incapable of problem solving? That's kinda rude of you.

Allright, allright - here is what you can do... although - nope. I'm not going to insult your intelligence by stating the obvious. You are not a child anymore. Besides there are already guides on how to deal with spawn camping and PvPers even if you have PvE equipment.

GLHF! :)

Quite! Or, the obvious answer, they could go kill the final boss of one of the completely PVE-Only DLC dungeons.

Beats complaining when PVP happens in a PvPvE zone!

I can get when PvE people get upset when they can’t get their tickets when there is no option but PvP to get them, BUT.... not the case here. Go do the dungeons. You’ve got 2 to pick from to get your tickets.

Or put on your big boy/girl panties and learn how to PvP 🤷‍♀️

Hush! Don't tell them! They need to figure this out themselves. Their brains need training. Don't take it away from them by providing an easy solution to their problem.

Oh, bs. If I am playing a level 20 character, and specifically choose a non-CP instance, and you come stalking me with your maxed out-CP character, there is no "get good" or strategize" or "learn from the experience" to it. I'm just dead in one hit, and you are just curb-stomping a puppy... and we all know what the DSM-IV says about little boys who like to torture small helpless creatures. But if that makes you feel like a big man, fine, just don't pretend like it makes you anything other than pathetic.

Perhaps instead of complaining about content you don’t know how to play, try to group up with people who are willing to show you around. Remember - safety in numbers when you’re new. And accept you’re gonna die, a lot.

To be clear, I have no issue fighting other players who are even roughly the same level. It was pretty thrilling the one time I managed to kill someone nearly ten levels higher than me, although frankly I attribute that to luck more than skill on my part. But I did actually manage to learn something from that, and from the other times I've lost but was fighting someone not that many levels higher than me. But come on... if you're going out of your way to only fight people significantly weaker than you, it's embarrassing for you, not for them.

Not really the point. If you're maxed out, you also clearly have far more experience, and probably far superior gear. It's pitiful, and you know it, no matter how many excuses you make. Otherwise they would be going after people at their own level, but we all know why they don't.

I'm also not "just" complaining. I've grouped up, run around, and managed to get my tickets on both servers every day. For the most part, it's been a lot of fun. That doesn't mean I can't also spare a little time to laugh at the maladjusted gankers.

If you queue up for the Non CP Instance, the enemies you'll be facing are, at best, Level 50s wearing CP 160 sets. "Maxed out CP Character" is what you'd face in the CP Campaign.

And, um, you queued up willingly and knowingly for a PVP-enabled zone. Its 100% your responsibility to prepare for PVP, not your opponents. You aren't a small helpless creature unless you choose to be - there are plenty of excellent PVPers below level 50. Blaming other players for playing as intended in a zone you willingly queued up for? That's pretty sad.

If you want to be harder to kill in PVP than the average mudcrab, that's your job to make that happen. Your opponents are playing as intended.
If you need advice to help with that, I have a guide here: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/492278/pvpve-during-the-imperial-city-celebration-2019

Not really. It’s pvp. I see the non cp campaigns as a place to test skill vs cp campaigns as a test of overall abilities. Non-cp is a great place to learn but at the end of the day you’re going into a PvP area and anyone of any level of any skill set is fair game.

Nah, I'm good. I might have enjoyed pvp, and at brief moments I have. But the small number of PVPers who aren't looking for a real fight have turned me off from it. Y'all can keep QQing about how ESO doesn't devote enough resources to PVP and the population is too small, but some of you have no one to blame but yourselves. Your loss, not mine.

.... but that’s what PvP is for. For player vs player fighting. If you are struggling with getting the tickets, group up or go do the dungeons. Or post on the forums asking for help. This was a forum post just to complain that you keep dying in a zone where you’re gonna die... a lot. Not my loss (or any of ours really) but more so yours since it’s a part of the game you are writing off and deciding not to learn.

Most PvP folks are happy to help others learn how to do it, you just have to be willing to put in the time and effort to learn it and accept your many, many deaths until you get better at it. We were all new to PvP once too.

I’m not going to begrudge someone for going after one of my sub-50 alts, but I do have to chuckle when it’s 7 people ult-dumping on me. I mean that just seems like a silly waste of ultimate to me, but whatever floats their boat. I’ll just rez and be back at it, because I fully accept and expect to die a lot.

Inaccurate. My post was a response to OP, who ludicrously asserts that players who are getting ganked can learn from the experience. Look, you're welcome to enjoy what you enjoy, and I'm going to enjoy what I'm going to enjoy. It's not that much skin off my nose, I've largely enjoyed this event. I'm just saying, let's not pretend like anyone is going to learn something from being ganked. It's not a useful experience for the gankee, so let's not bs it, ok? Y'all are free to tel var farm lowbies, although heaven knows, you're not going to get far with my, like, 26 tv. But bless your heart, you're welcome to them. Just don't fool yourself that it's some noble pursuit.

Actually you learn a lot from being ganked. You learn what skills they used to kill you for one. You also learn their hiding spots secondly. You also learn if you have enough impen gear on. And you also learn spots where you’re better of sneaking around.
