I mean pet sorc was compensation for a patch to make the class look pretty after all the sabotaging/ persecution they have put our class through. Was pet sorc cheese, yes. it definitely made the class e z mode for sure compared to any other play style.
However i would argue temp is more broken, They control the fight with a spamable snare that shouldn't exist.
Jabs you cant cloak or dodge roll= guaranteed damage, 0 counter play if your in the radius .
Eclipse is the new wings on roids with 0 counter play, typically. From the morphs i read in their original design.
they press one button the heal full health. I cant recall the last time their self healing got reduced or punished
yet everyone else's self healing is/ survival ability.


we have a support class overshadowing the roll of strict dps classes in pvp, for solo play and 1v1. That is a problem.
I don't mind them being good classes but i sure as hell have a problem with them being top dog especially when this is a class that new/bad players gravitate towards and zos is straight up catering to.
why is it people that are horrible on the game are less problematic to kill on sorcerer and nb in general than templar or dk.
use your head people.

I would rather they buff magicka damage in general so everyone can benefit, but in the right way! which is a more respectable way to when fights,
yet all the biased people want to pick in choose when they want these hard counters selectively buffed into their classes, Templar is a perfect example, thus zos contradicts them self because their intention for persecuting other classes were built on their identity and counters they offered= Shields/wings/nb crit healing/ making dodge roll mitigation more obsolete/ etc the list goes on.

There is no reason there shouldn't be a magicka morph to dawn breaker, in this sorry state of the game!
Bring inev det back and make it have respectable single target damage, the ability has been useless for years and completely gutted.

Firstly "spammable snare" make a templar and go spam that whilst you're being aggressive and see how long you sustain it, especially when you're being targetted which is when it's useful.


Jabs you can use your shade or gap close to someone else, you're talking about not being able to break away from a class who probably has the worst mobility in game (at least magplar) - Why should cloak guarantee your safety? It shouldn't, and right now, you either escape, or you don't. If you utilise your shade, you'll get away SO easily.

You say cater to, what have we had catered? We've been average for a long time, now we got a root (like other classes have) and can cleanse the dots people are CHOOSING to use (with a cleanse we've always had and that has been nerfed over time - which you must have missed)

Players on templar are harder to kill because the bad ones turtle up and block cast a heal, they're turned into healbots and the second you're on your back bar, blocking and spamming heal like that, you're as good as dead.

Sorcs and NB's are easier to kill because they can't turtle up the same way - Go put a sorc in heavy, run snb, block, spam shields and streak when people come near you - Bet you I kill every healbot templar on console before I get you unless there's user error on your part.

If the fact that a healing and support class can turtle up and only turtle up is an issue then you've got the issue.People turtling is not a good indicator of what's OP.

The dev team have pretty much said they goofed when it comes to the sheer number of too strong DoTs available, so expect nerfs to DoT in the next big patch.

How can you tell the difference between a 'sweaty try-hard' templar and just a regular one? Is it only the ones that kill you that are sweaty or...

I genuinely need to know, I'm levelling a templar and I don't want it to be sweaty or try-hardy, that would be gross.

LOL I swear this is coming from people who saw the DOT meta and jumped on just spreading the DOTs around and then noticed one class was still coming and killing them because their DOTs get rendered useless.

Then you have eclipse which is a bit overturned admittedly. But if they are healing to full, quit zerging with people light attacking that doesnt hit them for more than the heal tick.

What's the meta BiS of Templar? and what's this BS the influx of sheep abusing? I hope you're not just slinging around baseless claims as well.

If the forums tonight said mag necro was OP, tomorrow all the sheep would be making Mag Necros, the non forum going sheep would see the influx of those and follow along as expected and as they always do.

I main a Templar, multiple types, and have for years. There has been an influx of Templars, and most don't know which end is up, much less how to do well in PvP. I read your post as what it was and it made me chuckle, because the influx has just made nuking the bad ones easier, but sure makes the good ones stand out even more.

Keep 'em crying, next patch they'll jump on the new flavor thinking it's the patch that makes the skill, not the other way around.

The OP might be right for one reason - the last time I ran into bots in a well-known botting area, the bots were no longer lightning form spamming sorcs with their pets out. They were - you guessed it - templars.

When the ToS violating cheating scumwads start using templars, it's a sign of something. First and foremost a sign that Zenimax needs to hire some actual GMs to deal with this problem, granted, but I had never seen templar bots before.

Never saw them on consoles. Not once. Different beasts, it seems. It was always sorcs with pets out spamming lightning form on xbox.

It is somewhat of a joke thread. I played the game for years and tolerated every class' time at the top. I don't care whether things are nerfed or not, I'm going to play the game regardless.

This for sure. I've killed a ton of bad Plars but there are some that are just super, nearly unkillable GodPlars. Why are several people bitching about Plars so much lately? Serious question. Maybe I should have phrased my original post better with less memey nerf joke to it since there are so many super cereal "git gud" nerds on here.
