So can the healers handle or not?

So guys.

During the PTR stages, there were threads upon threads of topics regarding healers being unable to handle the hardest healing requirements in the game.
Now that the patches have rolled over, I don't see continued complaining.
Did it turn out we had enough healing?

I'm asking out of genuine curiosity. I remember seeing that one forum post where people had a trial and proved that they don't have enough. Whetehr or not that's true or not, I don't know. I didn't watch it. But I don't see people throwing carts out of houses anymore...

Are healers handling the big demand trials?

(This isn't about the relevence of healers in dungeons, don't make it about that)

I only tried non-HM vHoF and had zero problems with healers being unable to heal whole group with tanks and healers rotating barriers.

I've healed Vmol (Hm), Vcr+1 and VSS (Hm) that far this Patch on a Templar.

The Healing is mainly okay, in Lokkestiz Hardmode I could barely keep myself up tho in the Beam Phase. I survived but barely. Maybe need to raise my Healing Done there or something.(Our Warden tho had 0 Issues.) >__<

I've only healed vMoL and crag HMs since the patch. I definitely notice that it's much harder to keep a group healed when they're spread out more since we only have one spring that's been weakened, but it's fine if they're stacked close enough for my combat prayer spam. I just want to get back into vHoF and test it out. Right before the patch I managed to solo heal vHoF up until the triplets and no one even noticed we didn't have two healers, but I don't think that will be doable now.

The main impact on my templar healer has been the duration nerf to what was mutagen and the loss of flexible responsiveness to what was healing springs. I find healing less effective. And less fun.

Note 1: I don't have bar space to slot shards and orbs so I don't slot orbs. Therefore, I can't comment on the orbs change.
Note 2: I do appreciate the boost to the HoT from extended ritual.
Note 3: I don't heal trials - just overland WBs, dragons and group dungeons with (usually) pugs. That is, undisciplined spread out groups and the changes hurt that healing style.

I haven't really felt any impact. The only time i can't heal efficiently is when a tank can't control aggro and I wind up having to run all over the map. But there's nothing ZOS can do about that. You can't patch stupid. :P

No problems on my end, but I do miss my 14-18K mutagen proc in pvp. It still makes me sad...

Healing is fine in stack and burn situations. Much more difficult in situations where everyone is spread out.

this. also, in my experience so far, healing on non meta classes as expected is noticeably more painful :/ but since its not about dungeons, and people don't tend to take non metal healers to harder trials anyways, i guess main impact is some loss of flexibility as to which class gets to go to trials nowadays.

Before the patch I farmed vet icp for gear at least two dozen times with my templar healer. And since the patch for the event I have noticed a big decline in my performance. Trying vicp for the event I have been kicked twice both times in the lord warden fight because I "don't have the heals for this dungeon". Nothing else has changed except continued increase in cp (670ish).

I can't quantify it in numbers or anything but the difference is noticeably negative.

You bring up an interesting point: Fake healers seem to get a pass compared to fake tanks and fake DPS.
