Bitey werewolves in the wild

If you encounter a werewolf in the wild on a night that they are biting (imparting the disease via their bite), will they respawn in that spot on that night, or is it a one-timey thing for that night?

I think its the same as wild vamps - there's several locations in the area where they can spawn. Get a map, run around those locations, and you should get lucky.

Oh, I got lucky. They were in a location that wasn't on my map (I use a map add-on with which you can enable pins for werewolf and vamp locations), so it was an unexpected pleasant surprise (it also wasn't a full moon).

But I didn't have the filter for those pins enabled on that character yet (a new character), so it didn't add the location to the database.
SO I was wondering if they'd respawn at that same location so I could run into them with another character.

Yeah they should do, either there or one of the other locations nearby.

I think they respawn on a timer during that window of time, but the window isn't that long and that is going to limit how often they are there.

Players used to camp on those spots, killing the NPCs so that they could sell bites. Maybe they still do. Getting bitten by a friend or guild mate is better than trying to catch them in the wild, or paying someone for it.

I know finding them in the wild is a relatively rare occurrence (I do really feel like I got lucky, since this was the first time I encountered a spawn-site). Typically, I go to a shrine and ask for a bite.

I also give free bites, regularly (most of my characters are werewolves). I don't believe in charging for either werewolf or vamp bites.

Wild Werewolves and Bloodfiends spawn at Bangkorai, Reaper's March or The Rift during ingame night on one of the many possible spawn locations. I think I've seen Bloodfiends at Rift (when I did not yet know what they were) and more recently by change found Werewolf pair at Reaper's March. Ingame night was almost over but I managed to notify someone to successfully get their wild bite. So do let people know. No need to kill em, just aggro, get blessed/infected and run away.

By the way, it's easier to find a player giving WW bite for free than biteable player as WW. Try asking for WW ot Vamp bite at The Rift or Bangkorai at prime time. For some reason I've never seen anyone at Reaper's March WW shrine or vamp altar.

In my experience people troll the spawn points and kill them for no good reason.

It started when people would sell WW bites for tons of gold, they would kill the spawns to force people to buy the bite
