humble request regarding ESO+ free statues and craftable statues

these ESO+ statues and the craftable ones would be great for making a chess board but there is currently no way to distinguish between the sides....
So I would like to request the ability to dye (paint) our statues using the dye station. would be great to be able to play chess in a house with a guildie.
Also - painting little figurines was a staple rpg thing back in the day
