Can you remember your first ever experience in a Dungeon in ESO?

I remember I was on my MagSorc in Fungal Grotto 2, spamming rapid regen and illustrious healing but the group just kept wiping. I remember being told I need to heavy attack the person I want to heal with my resto staff. I don't know if they were as newb as me or were just having a laugh but I remember feeling so extremely determined to keep everyone alive. We finished the dungeon in the end and I went up about 2 levels, then another level when turning in my undaunted quest.

I went to FG1 due to that undaunted troll quest at cp10 or something like that solo and got to crab boss, but those respawning crabs were too much to handle.. I thought that dungeon difficulty scales to the number of players, so I thought no point to use group finder until I can complete it solo..

On my very first character, when I got to the top of the map in Auridon I wandered into Banished Cells just to see what it was like. I got absolutely murdered by those three banekin by the entrance. It was quite a while before I went back in there and had my revenge.

Can’t remember the dungeon, but most assuredly it was horrible because the guild I was in then would only run veteran ranked stuff. And I certainly wasn’t ready for vet anything.

I do recall holding on to a number of vet 7 Monster pieces. It was quite some time before I had made it to vet 16.

Those guys back then running Maelstrom Weapons , Agility Jewelry and Bloodspawn Monster Set. Had to be like really freaking good given the stage the game was in.

None of them play anymore.

Yes. I didn't know what I was doing. No rotation no nada. Good thing I met some cool people soon after who showed me lots heading me on my way, properly. I think Wayrest Sewers was my first dungeon if I remember correctly.

I was 90 cp. It was first week after one tamriel. We did wgt hm with 90 cp stamblade, 50 cp healplar, 200 cp dk tank and 100 cp sorc. We did it during 5 hours. Was fun.

Been playing since early access, can't remember that far back xD. Most good memories have been soured by bad experiences lately. People rage more in dungeons these days.

I've been playing for less than a year, but I toyed with it years ago on my brothers account. Spindleclutch was tough dungeon then and I couldn't kill a single spider and gave up. Though I didn't really know how to play either, even overland mobs used to chase me down and kill me. This was before any scaling changes. Overland seemed more fun back then though

Spindleclutch. Before text chat existed and I think before dungeon finder, when you had to wait outside the dungeon for other players to come along. I was about level 14 and very new.
That poor guy that carried 3 of us lowbies...must have gone through a lot of soul gems that day!

I tried to do Spindleclutch 1 with a friend, just the two of us.... did not go well.

I can't remember what else I did before this, but I remember being absolutely traumatized by Fungal Grotto II... I pugged it after playing the game for what must have been about two weeks. Oh god it was awful.

Fresh into Morrowind, probably about level 20. I talked to the nice lady with the boat at Vivec docks... she took me to Halls of Fabrication, which I tried to solo. Went well.

While exploring the map, I walked into Banished Cells...alone. Didn’t make it to the 1st boss before I tucked tail and ran back out.

Yes! I was like level 30... these two higher level players asked me to do FG with them.... I had no idea how to play AT ALL... like no food, no soul gems.... kept dying.... I was a total burden.... no help at all. And yet they were so kind and sweet to me..... I will never forget that.... ♥️

Yes actually. I was a sub vet rank (maybe lvl 40 or so), and two of my other friends who were also sub vet were wandering around and questing in Glenumbra. We happened upon Spindleclutch, and had no idea what it was. we decided to explore it, and spent the next two hours hacking away at the beasts in there, then we got to the spider boss at the end, and it took us another hour to beat it. It was rough, but it was an amazing victory for us.

Some random person at a dolmen asked if I wanted to do Crypt of Hearts 1 and I was like sure. We fought all the way to the Illambris twins and the final fight was so hectic I didn’t realize there were TWO of them. I thought the same one was just teleporting around Lol.

When we killed one I stopped fighting to celebrate and two folks died.

I valiantly soloed the other one until the other dude rezzed the other two folks then we killed the last Illambris. Each twin took like 30 minutes. Lol.

My first group experience happened on a warm summer night in Wayrest.
I was a newly minted tankplar. I had no idea what was going on. Somehow no one died. My guildies were pretty good and very patient.

We then proceeded to vCOH 1 where I caused a wipe the first time on the Ilambris twins. We got em on the second try. I had a great time and got addicted. I did nothing but dungeons for about six months.

Not really but it must have been Banished Cells at level 12. I just know that bacause I still have the Jailbreaker and Dreught King sets I got back then, I pass them off to new characters as leveling gear and the lowest pieces are Jailbreaker level 12. Dreught King starts at 14.

Not sure if the activity finder was always a thing or not, but when ESO launched on console, I use to wait outside the dungeons for random people and we would go in and do the dungeons.

I could never, ever, find people to do the dungeon in Rivenspire

Normal FGII hard casting Crystal Fragments all the time-lv 20 (when we dungeon level locks wasnt available)

I failed all the way and was kicked from dungeon on shadows trap boss.
Then I read about the game, my class, rotations and sets.
It still gives chills when I go to that dungeon.

I don't remember my first group dungeon at all, it was too long ago.

What I do remember vividly is my first clear of Veteran Darkshade Caverns II, which took a full seven hours. Most of which was spent on the final boss, waiting to get more players into the dungeon. There was an awful lot of sitting in the dungeon to keep the instance open while people ported out to repair gear and/or make more potions. (Were Repair Kits not a thing back then?).

At one point, one of us had to sit in the dungeon while a couple more players went to help someone else with ... I want to say Crypt of Hearts? so that she could then join us.

It went on all night, and I ended up acquiring a friend for the group who'd just got up! AND WE FINISHED IT!

It was a million years ago. Banished Cells. Some of you might remember waiting outside of dungeons for pug groups and the trick being to have the lowest level person be the group lead so it wasn't quite so hard. I was knocked through a wall and couldn't get back in the room for the final fight lol. But it was fun.

During beta i walked into Fungal Grotto solo without realizing that it was a group dungeon.

Looking back now, it was hilarious although i didn't feel that way at the time.

Wish I could remember, wasn't that long ago. I do remember most dungeons just seemed overwhelming. Crap on the ground, in the air, coming directly at me. Now it's just like "Get all those dudes in a ball and let's feed on 'em like sardines!"

it was many moons ago, and i believe it was Volenfell, i remember waiting outside for a while as people turned up, ) because thats what we did back then )
Im not sure how the delv went,, i do remember wiping many times to the first group of mobs but them my memory fails me.. maybe we just quit?
