well that can happen randomly cuz your provider used a different ip or something. or something got reset somehow.

Run a repair from launcher. It should replace files that might have been corrupted during patching.

Most provider use a range of IP which you are assigned to through something called DHCP which is how server and client communicate through a intermediate IP are given from DHCP server to client.

If your router (here act as "client" for some reason have been turned off or lost connection over 5-10 min to IPS provider, then that IP would be free to be used by another device (another user from IPS) and when you connect again, then you will have another IP. There is something called static IP that is possible that some provider offer for consumer for a fee, but not every IPS offer this for ordinary consumer.

A home router also make use of DHCP on the local net (WAN), so you can connect every device without going through the process of setting up individual static IP for each device.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dynamic_Host_Configuration_Protocol

This could be the reason why you get this request to verify your connection to ZoS server as part of security measure.

As for disconnect and that kind of things you will need to log what is happening. Nobody can help you with the information that you have been given here OP as it is impossible to rule out what is going on.

At least give information about your hardware how you connect to Internet and if your IP have changed. If you have downloaded any patches from Microsoft that might have had some impact on Internet protocols etc.

You should also use the proper section of this forum, if you want technical support as general forum isn't a support forum.
