Just curious. What character (Stam or Mag / class / male or female ) do you have the Most Fun playing?

And, more importantly, Why is this particular character so much fun?

Same! Damn, onslaught is best thing which happened for hybrids.. I simply can't stop playing my hybridDK right now, it's such fun.

Depends really, one update can make a class go from fun to frustrating. Most fun would probably be a tie between Magplar/Stamplar, Stam Sorc and Magwarden.

Like the gameplay for Templar when it’s working, the mobility of a stam sorc and the kit of a magwarden

Yikes. I'm biting my tongue really hard to keep my mouth shut. I just know the moment I confess my fave class/spec and why, it will get nerfed right into no fun.

See, I have a friend who made the mistake of saying they loved the AoE pet magsorc playstyle a few months ago. Well. . . you know what happened there.

Just started leveling a magplar-- she's so much fun! I love how versatile she is so far. She has nice ranged skills, good at melee distance, nice healing potential. Plus, I don't have to fall back on weapon skills to supplement gaps in class skills.

I really wish I'd started leveling her sooner.

Yes, it is magnificent and what's more important you can use actual stam whip with it. Unfortunately ZOS plans to ditch onslaught, despite it has ton of counter-plays.. (can be dodged, can be kited etc)

For five full years, my Magsorc main.

But as of Skillbreaker, I'm not enjoying her at all anymore. I'm finding more fun to be had on my Stamblade. Not as much as my Sorc used to be, though.

Well, its because, over 4 years, i have tried a number of different characters and still haven't really found a character/style that I Really have fun with. So I keep doing research and starting over. I figured I would get some outside opinions on what others have fun with.

MDK. Everyone runs away from my Sorc or NB. At least I get 10 seconds of fighting before they cry in group voice chat for help.

I find the aesthetics to be surprisingly important to how much I enjoy my characters. I enjoy my Templar tank but JABJABJABJAB is ridiculous and annoying. My DWx2 Stamblade is fun but SPINSPINSPIN is also ridiculous. My MagSorc feels good, I love the visceral WHUMP when Crystal Blast lands, and I don't feel like I need to use the annoying flappy bird or lightning form.

The classes use to be really unique and fun in so many different ways. Playing each class was such an amazing part of the game. I'd say the class you liked depended on the style you most related to. Strong tanky warriors had fun with DK's, roguish types enjoyed NB, the traditional mage character loved sorcs, and the cleric healers gravitated to templars. But that's all gone.

The developers decided it was best to strip out class identity for the purpose of game balance, I assume for PVP because it wasn't needed for PVE. So I would say no class really stands out anymore, I'd wait to see what they do over the next 3-9 months as they work to correct what they did.

I see what you are saying. From day one, wanted to use classic sword and shield for PvE. Then , as I started to learn about the game, found that this was a bad decision. If I do go that direction, I am just making things harder on myself.

And I just don't understand the Armor passives. I wear medium armor, so obviously my weapon critical improves.

Medium also increases my stamina recovery and using weapons costs less stamina - so why wouldn't this carry over to Light armor as well? Should be even less strenuous to swing a weapon while using Light armor. Improved sneak for every piece of medium armor you wear? What if its dyed bright purple? with 5 pieces equipped you swing the weapon harder and do more damage than with 4 pieces of medium and 3 pieces of Light. Again - HUH?????

And obviously medium armor increases your foot speed (sprint). And just as obviously, wearing Light armor you are slow as a snail. So the fat guy wearing medium armor out runs the athletic guy in Light armor.

IMHO armor should just be armor. Wear light armor light protection, every magicka spell is cast instantly, bonus to movement speed. Medium armor, medium protection, every magicka spell has a short delay in casting, normal movement speed. Heavy armor, good protection, magicka spells have a longer casting, modifier to movement speed. Something along these lines, IMHO, make much more sense to the flavor of the game.

My magplar has been my main for over 5 years and I, also, love the versatility. She does all the things that I would never do............she's a thief, an assassin, a vampire, and an all-around bad girl. She kills bunnies and pulls the wings off of butterflies but I love her anyway! She is loads of fun to play.

nord warden ice mage.

i went all in on the ice theme too.

frostcaster armor, iceheart weapons pack, iceheart shoulder motif, crystalfrost skin, her mount is a horse with that ice skin as well.

ice staff on both bars (NO TRI FOCUS)

iceheart, icy conjurer, and ysgramors birthright for pve.

i take her to pvp and use iceheart, winterborn, and torugs pact for maximum trolling.

ALL damage done is ice damage and all skills slotted are ice themed except the netch, inner light, and bird of prey (those two are used for the slot bonuses).

i mess around solo with that character and it is a lot of fun. i dont care about having l33t deeps. i kill things and i stay alive. i dont take her to dungeons and trials anyway so who cares she isnt min/maxed!

sure is fun being an ice mage.
its ok to think for yourself and not play the game as alcast and others tell you to.

depends on the content. for pvp, my magden. for pve raiding, my magplar. for questing/home making/crafting, my magsorc.

Overall i'm not 100% sure.

Just overall has a cool theme. Not every skill is up to snuff but i have faith in wheeler and this regime to get it done come dragonbones.

It used to be my pet warden. Until they nerfed the bear. To this day pet warden is still poop tier. Only see the rare warden tank these days. Otherwise pet Wardens are good for light attacking the overworld.

DK and Templar, both versions, stamina and magic. My two original characters. Over the years I have changed from stam DK to currently magDK and form Magplar to stamplar. Played at least 2500 and 1500 hours respectfully.

Same here, my PvP ice off-tank is probably the most fun.

Before Update 23 I was running Master’s Ice Staff and Asylum Sword & Board ... but had to swap out weapons after the Defensive Posture skill took a heavy U23 nerf.
