Group events

Hi,

Since I don't know anyone around me playing this game I usually solo or group with randoms if they are doing the same quest. I want to get "Savior of Summerset" but requirements include 2 groups events. Can I solo them too?

I am at CP 120 (magsorc). I did all Sunhold solo when I was level 40 but when I saw the "group event" I didn't even try. :D
Because I can't pull WB s alone so I thought that would be similar.
Should I give it a try? Is it doable?

Yes. Most of the "group" events are actually easier than the other bosses in the public dungeons.

If you are speaking about the 'Group Challenge' fight in each public dungeon then, yes. If you can solo the rest of a public dungeon, taking on the group challenge should be manageable. Good luck! :)

There is only one group event in all the public dungeons I find hard to solo and it's a dwemer construct. I think it is Razak's Behemoth in Razak's Wheel but I'm not sure.

Group events of all the Public Dungeons I've done so far are way easier than World Bosses (I haven't done Summerset ones yet, but I've done the Elsweyr ones and they're doable), so I think it's worth a try.

Yeah, you should be able to do them at your level. I soloed my first one around CP 100 or so.

The only public dungeon group event you really need two people for is the one in the Lost City of Na-Totambu in Alik’r Desert. Not because it’s difficult, you need two people to start it.

I've found that it is very possible to do solo. I step on each of the six plates one at a time in the following order: scarab, scarab, spider, spider, scorpion, scorpion and the boss trio appears. Does not require two players to do the plates. :)

The group event in Razak's Wheel is a Flesh Atronach and the necromancer who created it. Are you perhaps thinking of the big rolling Dwemer thing in Vvardenfell? Or the one in Rkindaleft? (I don't think that one's particularly hard.)

Also, the Lost City of No-Tambu (spelling?) group event needs two players to trigger it.

The new group event in Rimmen Necropolis is actually pretty tricky. A defensive ultimate in the final stage of the fight helps a lot. In general, the DLC public dungeon group events are tougher than base game ones, although I think with a smaller gap than in the case of world bosses.

I soloed that last night. Just do things in pairs; step on a spider first - step on a spider second - step on a scarab next - step on a scarab.... you get the picture.

should be doable but might make sense to wait till CP160.
it'll be faster with a decent set and also the loot you'll get will be CP160 so you can work towards those sets if ypu need them.
    plus CP120 to 160 is a breeze :)

I have done that alone. They must have adjusted it somehow. I just have to get the pairs in the right order, one after the other.

After experiencing some jerkface troll purposely walking around the stones in the wrong order, over and over again for...reasons... while I had a scroll running, I much prefer being completely alone when doing that one.

Heh, I agree. Though not due to trolling or intentional, I have oft been thwarted there by players not familiar with that 'puzzle' hopping around on the stones randomly. Usually, I just find a quiet corner to crouch and wait till they finish/give up. I feel for you on the xp scroll though.

Just to update that you were all right about this, the group events were not group events at all and nothing like WBs, slight challenge perhaps but that is all and I got the title, thank you for encouraging me :)

I also did Lost City solo. I was able to do the stones puzzle without knowing the correct order ahead of time, because when I stepped on the correct stone it changed-- started glowing, or stopped glowing, I forget which, but it changed state. Then I just stepped on the others until another one changed state, then again until a third one changed, and so on until I'd changed all of them. I'll try it again later to see if it still works that way, but that's how I remember it working before.

    Hey Cirantille

You should be able to do the public dungeon group events solo.

In the event you can’t I’ve found asking in chat or talking to other players in the dungeon can help get you allies, I’ve met some cool people doing that.

    Good luck

Yes I have done them both solo last night,
I don't know why they even call it a group event :D
