Did I do good, or content just to easy?

I know I am not good at the game. I have tried to solo dolems (that is where the chains in the air come from correct?) and die. If there is another person or two to help me, then I don't die and we can clear it. World bosses can't do alone, and the dungeons with a + on it, I am horrible at.

I am was playing a level 50 CP 200ish sorcerer. I don't really have sets, so I know I am not that good. I still don't know anything about sets. Went to the banker, and in the guild I bought some stuff. I think that helped a bit.

Thing is, I was in Summerset yesterday, and the "dolem version" in Summerset (sorry forgot the proper name) I was able to do alone. So did I actually do good and be proud for once and not dying all the time, or is the content in Summerset easier than the mainland and I am not really getting better?

I don't care if I am not getting better, I am having fun still and to me that is all that matters. If I am getting better, then great I have finally did something, if not, oh well, it was still fun.

The geysers in Summerset scale quite a bit based on the number of players there. If you're alone it will be significantly easier. For newer casual players I'd still say that completing them solo is a solid sign of improvement, but you may want to do a few more to see if you perhaps just got an easier boss, which can happen.

If solo, you'll usually get a miniboss at an Abyssal geyser. Those are about the same difficulty as a dolmen.

Geysers do have a chance to spawn a named boss, a chance that increses with more players present. Those are about equal in difficulty to a world boss, with some geyser bosses being quite difficult.

So if you are still working on soloing dolmens in the base game, I'd say you did fine!

Yeah, Summerset geysers can be rough for sure depending on how your character is designed! As mentioned, they do scale, but only to an extent. They are definitely more challenging than the dolmens of the base game and the bosses they can spawn are more challenging than most of the base game world bosses.

Take that pride and go back to one of those dolmans and solo it. Keep on keeping on!

Geysers are harder than dolmens, so good job. You should be able to clear a dolmen now.

Just tried a Dungeon in Summerset, found it out by accident, and my god I almost pulled out my hair. I think I need to invest in more soul gems now LOL.

Going back to the main land and see if I can do a dolmen now.
