"Fixed numerous issues where Area of Effect-based Damage over Time abilities were being considered Direct Damage in some circumstances. They will now always be treated as Damage over Time.
This will also help their tooltips reference proper modifiers, such as Thaumaturge."
Saw this in the patch notes. Previously EOTS scaled with CP effecting direct damage. Curious if anyone has tested this.

✭Yes it's DoT and scales from thauma.
As well as blockade and eruption and volley and so many other ground DoTs that were Direct Damage before but now are Damage over time.Jodynn PC NA
