Death Among the Dead Water Quest bug

So many bugs it's frustrating. First: talk to Kishi after lighting the signals, he isn't there. I've reloaded and restarted the quest and Kishi isn't there to talk to. When he does finally appear,
Second issue: the final boss appears but the tamed vines don't pull me to safety and needless to say I die Everytime.
Is the issue due to be fixed anytime soon before I give up playing the game?
Seriously, been a week and I've sent two ( this being my third) complaint and it's still not fixed.
