PS4 NA broken worse than ever

Ok, I dont really have a lot of words for this. Mostly because this update in general is bad. Scalebreaker is horrible. I spent a better part of the day getting this update downloaded, kinda looking forward to playing. I finally got an opportunity to play about an hour ago. Turned on my game and loaded into my primary res. I run a dual monitor set up so I can multi task, and I had my PS4 headset on.

Anyway, something doesnt sound right. At all. I look over at my PS4 monitor. Nothing SEEMS amiss, but I am getting some pretty bad audio glitches. The audio is cutting in and out alot. I didnt think anything of it, and started gearing up my character for a VMA run! Super excited to get started. Re Morph a few skills and port in! Run to the beginning, take the quest, repair, and move on! Then the server lag hit. HARD. Audio glitches and complete desynch issues so horrendous, I couldnt finish the run. Typically I flawless in about 30-35 minutes on all toons, but I couldnt stomach past stage 5. The game became UNPLAYABLE.

Is there a QA team at zenimax? DO the check their game at all? And to think, I was CONSIDERING buying crowns to get some skill lines. NOPE. I might even un sub and quit. It's that bad and today was not the day to do that to me, zeni. We might be breaking up at this point.

Welp, I was going to attempt to update the game to see how bad the dumpster fire was in-action. I mean from what I heard, it went swimmingly on PC .

Sorry you're experiencing that. I think I'll sit that one out. Maybe re-download FFXIV.

If you love vma it’s single player content, might as well play single player game like bloodborn, dark souls for better performance and challenges.

I slogged through two BGs and immediately logged out to play a different game. Terrible skill lag, ultimates not going off despite me mashing the buttons (yes, I know there’s a slight delay now, no, I wasn’t experiencing that), health desyncs galore, and Soul-Splitting Trap/Degeneration on every single damn recap. Felt like I my character was running through molasses while the dots just did their ridiculous little thing.

I tried, guys. Might be time to just become a casual, non-subbing overland quester until this dumpster fire of a game has playable PVP again.

Oof. Thank you for your sacrifice so I can keep playing Persona 5 uninterrupted.

So.... sounds like business as usual. And here I thought ZOS was serious when they said this next DLC would fix a lot of these issues on PS4. They just keep piling more straws on the camel's back

Its real nice now that you get froze up trying to craft too have had to close app 3 xs to back out of jewelry tables fyi

42 minutes to do crafting on one toon due to having to relog 5xs to get off crafting tables gg *** off every part of the game idk why i play still tbh

Well, now I'm really glad I didn't buy Elsweyr and cancelled my sub to ESO+, but I'm sorry to hear that OP. I remember the first time this desyncing occurred, I think it was the patch before the Elseweyr patch. The only thing that was wrong was that my blacksmithing station only played audio intermittently, I thought oh well. Next patch felt like I was playing a p2p game with a host that was lag switching. Aaaand here we are about 4-5 months later? Jeebz.

Are you telling him to stop complaining about single player content when he has other options available, and he should just go pursue those?

Curious. I wonder why I am not seeing issues here. Just finished daily crafting writs on several alts, without any issues. Then I hear in guild chat that they need a tank for vet undaunted quest. I switch to my tank, we do the vet undaunted daily, no disconnects, or wipes. Ok, we did have the "someone has declined the invite" one time before we got into the dungeon. I have an original PS4, basic internet (20 Mbps down). Not hearing any complaints in guild chat either.

This honestly is the worse patch i have seen from zos. its just SO BAD

- Lags terrible, far worse then normal performance decrease from patch
- The combat balance is a joke
- guild history off, trader guilds cant operate
- multibid is a joke, i dont even want to be on when it comes for this weeks bid

This is really getting old, zos needs to get their *** together
