Free ESO and 500 crowns

So since ESO will be for free for the next days i could just make multiple accounts to fill up a guild or gifting me the 500 crowns to my main account, no? Is this allowed?

Regarding the guild, it's probably possible and okay. Many people have ghost guilds / dead guilds which they keep in order to enjoy 500 extra storage space.
As to gifting the 500 crowns to your main, it's okay too but there isn't much in the crown store that's lower than 500 crowns, you can't combine the crowns of different accounts, so it doesn't seem of much use.

You can buy crown crates, hair styles, acutally a lot of costumes,. emotes, body markings. Actually there is a lot of stuff you can buy with it. I'm not sure if this is intended and i wanna risk my main account.

I think you need to have an account active for 30 days before being able to gift anything from crown store. I believe this was put in place for this exact potential exploit.

I forgot about the restrictions, good point that this probably does have some way it won't work.

Gifting will be disabled in free accounts and gifting is enabled few days after creating a new account.

Do the free game accounts count for guild prerequisite for a guild bank? Do they count after the event is over?

If so, would it be considered a violation of TOS to create multiple such accounts to allow a personal guild bank storage?

You can't send/gift the crowns, only can be used on that account

Yes, i myself have 2 other accounts I used to get my dead guild back up to 10 slots, I just wont be able to play them unless I buy another copy of the game for those

Mine has been dead since launch, most of the accounts have probably been long forgot about, then again its not 9 "free" accounts so I dunno if this is the same

I think your just asking for a problem doing this regardless. I mean, your not creating the accounts to test drive eso for free, you explicitly creating them to circumvent the 10 member rule which can be considered an exploit. Honestly, if you really need the guild bank that bad, just find 9 people from the opposite server on your platform, say the PC EU one if your PC NA, who don't play on both, and have them log in quick and join your guild. You might want to entice them with crown gifts or something but that's up to you how you get them to agree. But anyway, you will have legit members that won't disappear and I can't see how that would be a violation since they are normal accounts.

I see where you're coming from but I doubt this would be considered an exploit. Especially if you simply fill your guild up with trial accounts. Say, you're having a guild with 2 (or 9) real accounts and use 8 (or 1) free ones to fill them up, how do you justify punishing those other real players?

But by no means I'm an expert on this.

E: also, consider this from the website article: "If you’ve played in a Free Play Event previously, you’ll be able to continue your adventure as if you never left[...]"
How could anyone tell it's not simply someone that made an (alt) account and only plays during trials, especially since they directly endorsed such behavior with that quote?

You're right, lets tag @ZOS_GinaBruno and hear if filling a guild with free accounts (own and/or foreigns) is considered an exploit.
I mean, after all I can't even tell if that newbie from a startet island is on a trial account or not. Or if I'm interested in creating 9 accounts I only play during free weeks.

Anyway, let's wait and see.

That's kind of the concern. "I know of people" who go to the starter islands during the freeplays and farm up those folks to fill up GBs. (And, ofc, folks who create their own set of fluff accounts.)

Either way, it would be nice to have a statement on this

This is the only reference to deleting Guild Banks based on fluff accounts that I've found.

The fact that they’ve said they’ll cold storage unused accounts (fact check me, pls) is probably relevant here. I assume when that process kicks in we’ll see impact to these free accounts (insofar as they’re used for body count). Just a side thought for anyone depending on them for private guild banks.

so let me understand this. people are perfectly ok with folks making fluff accounts to make a guild for the storage but a universal craft bag of just 20 items per mat and people lose their minds?

I'm really curious if ZOS just gave up on enforcing the TOS or if a lot more people had their private guild banks shut down over the years and kept quiet? Also, IDK if cold storaged account would be kicked from guilds or not. That's an interesting question for say college students in small social guilds.

There is no objection from ZoS if some one wants to buy 10 accounts for a guild bank

Lots of people have them.

I've heard of some making guild banks with free accounts that they just can't access when it's not free play but not sure how true that is.
