You know what this poll means if you finished the Psijic quest line.

The first time I did it, I gave him what he asked for. Out of curiosity I chose the other option when I did it the second time and now I feel terrible. Like i kicked a puppy. I should have saved that for a remorseless lawful evil character so I don’t feel so bad.

I’m tempted to ask support for a roll back lol 😔

Problem is that if you read the dialogue, you still end up with him even though you give him to Josajeh, hence the momento. So no matter what you choose the outcome is the same.

I know you get him as a furnishing the first time but for all the alts after you don’t get that little “psych! He’s yours now” pop up. So character wise it felt bad

I like the little guy, so I gave him what he wanted.

I've only completed the full quest-line on one character, so far (though I have done the Summerset portion of the quest on several so I could have access to Psijic portals on them), so I haven't experienced the consequences of the other option.

The vault

I've done this quest a few times and played it both ways, but mostly I send him to the vault. I feel he deserves to be sent to the vault because he tries to be so blatantly manipulative in the lead up to you making the decision.

It's all academic anyway because I actually have the Augur sitting on my sideboard at home (holding down a stack of papers). I reckon I must have talked to him most days over the last year or so.

Even my evil character struggled with letting Sheogorath have Valaste, so this? I don't think I have it in me to be that mean, RP or not.

All my elf promised him is that she'd consider freeing him after he helped her. In the end, she found him to be an obnoxious dweeb with the same false sense of self-importance/superiority that curses many Altmer and Dunmer. That said, she did give him to Josajeh - for her sake, not his.

To be honest, I thought there’d be another chance. IIRC The dialogue to give him to Josajeh had a “are you sure?” dialogue after you initially choose it. Then you walk outside and you can either “give to Josajeh or give to vault”. The dialogue for the vault is pretty final.

Comedy is the hardest thing to do.

I hate the Auger. He’s catastrophically unfunny, borderline racist and adds nothing to my immersion in the game other than to reinforce the notion that the whole Psijiic Order ‘skill’ line was designed from the start to be monetised rather than played through.

I've done the Psijic quest on a few toons and always chose the Josajeh option, but because I enjoyed his voice acting so much and wanted to see what any additional dialogue would be like, I once chose the Vault option on a character. And yep, it was awful, shame on me

There are actually people who do this questline more than once/on more than one character? No thanks, one time running all over the map (with ALL those load screens!) listening to his wisecracks was quite enough of a purgatory experience for me TYVM. Never again.

I always chose the vault, and have done so on all 18 characters.
I absolute hate how annoying this thing is. It wasn’t funny the first time, and certainly not the 3rd, 10th or 18th.
I would pay crowns for the option to crush that thing beneath my feet like in the opening to The Terminator.

Actually I kind of misses last step with Augur because when I was getting rid of Josajeh at the very end of questline something broke and gaem started machinegun me w lua errors. Found the Augur in me collectibles later.

(I suspect it might be related to No Thank You addon so not necessarily Zo$ fault. Closing client and logging back helped.)

To add: I did the the ordeal with lowbie character just because forums discussions. Yes Psijic is very boring and Augur gets unfunny very quick but its not that long. For me major fatal fault is Psijic does not blend with exploring, collecting skyshards, unlocking whayshrines, doing bosses dolmens and delves like Mages and Fighters guild grind.

I’ll never choose the vault or the skill points for the MG quest. Even when I make an “evil” character, I pick the nice option 99% of the time, sigh. Those memes posted earlier are me.

I put him in the vault hoping i would never see him again. Sadly i got him as reward, but luckily he no longer talks. I put him in my house in a firepit with an axe cleaving his skull. Serves him right for letting me do the most annoying quest in worlds history. And Hercules thought his measly 12 labors were though. I bet he could never go through with this one.

I do every story quest more than once on purpose. I want to see all the different endings. That’s probably why I’m so behind in story content.
