Rather than procrastinate buying or thinking about it some more, they are called to act and buy now. It's the same concept behind flash sales where you find deals that that will end soon. It also gives variety I suppose. It's meant to maximize profits just as crown crates are also there and with limited time to buy before the next season of lootboxes.
