My magplar is for pvp so what's the best choice for end game pve healing?
Thanks 🙂

To be clear -- except perhaps in the very toughest content, you can heal very effectively on any class, along with providing the expected (de)buffs (Major Courage, Magickasteal, Orbs/Shards and the Combat Prayer package). The bigger differences are in how much bar space, time and/or magicka you have left over to provide additional group benefits and/or do a bit of damage as well. Templars have the best efficiency in that respect because (even though you probably won't use ALL these options):
    • Channeled Focus does a lot in one skill.
    • Blazing Spear does some damage as you send shards.
    • Purifying Light does a bit of healing as you contribute to damage.
    • Purifying Light/Reflective Light buff both you and your group.
    • Honor the the Dead is powerful and versatile enough to fully cover the "spot heal" requirement.
    • Extended Ritual/Ritual of Retribution is a good skill that gives an extra synergy.

I don't heal frequently. I made a Warden healer. You should try both if you have the PTS installed to compare.

Warden and Necro are pretty close, but I think Warden has the edge, slightly. Their buffs are just so good, especially minor toughness. Necro is fine too, but I think it's just a touch lower than Warden.

But yeah, can't beat templar for heals.

I love the necro Rez ultimate. It's useful in raid wipes.

    after templar between those two

    Warden.

Budding seeds is amazing now and great to throw out with orb an healing springs.

they provide a massive amount of buffs to the group, including:
    -minor toughness
    -minor endurance
    -minor intellect
    -major resolve
just as part of their healing / buffs

passive major mending, when you need it, its up.

the tree is a good cheap alternative to barrier

honestly if Warden could cleanse like templar could or didn't have such terribly clunky damage skills it might be considered the superior PvE healer. Templar just wins out on ease of use for the most part.

EDIT: also dealing with the corpse mechanic on something already as intensive as a healer is just annoying, I quickly quit playing my magicka necro as a healer as it was the most unfun class / spec experience I have ever had in ESO, I do still play both templar and warden healers in PvE and PvP and find them both enjoyable. this patch templar is on top though, with dots being so horrid the class that can deal with them the best = the best.
