Never seen a trial crash like this before..

This was a new one. our guild was doing a vAA run and we were in the middle of the Mage boss at the end, and doing well, When the trial crashed for not one or two, but all twelve of us.. Kicked us all back to the character select screen. When we went back, no portal, it was completely reset and we would have to do it all over again.. Sad part was we were saving the chest and sacks till we were done to do a victory lap, so we not only lost out on the coffer and the final boss, but also all the loot along the way. It was getting late and we agreed not to run it all again. *sigh*..
This happen to anyone else recently? None of us had seem this before.

I had exactly the same experience couple of months ago, but last several raids were surprisingly okay in terms of performance. Bad if that mass crash thing is returning.

Experienced something similar yesterday in veteran Blessed Crucible. All 4 of us were kicked to the log-in screen at the same time during a boss fight, and when we logged in, the dungeon had reset and we lost all looted items.

It happens. Not often but happens. To us, it mostly happened in vMOL and vHRC.

Returned to charactervseletion and whatever zone we were prior to cyrodiil
When we got back in scroll were reset to there respectibe temple and by the look of the zone chat many experianced that

Can people posting on this thread please clarify which platform and approximate time, e.g. PC/EU? Thanks. I've seen posts about massive lag/freezes in Cyrodiil on PC/EU since Monday's patch, and am wondering if it's also affecting other group events there only, or on other megaservers too.

The recent rash of crashing has been deemed “likely” to be due to something in Monday’s maintenance. They are testing a fix and plan to roll it out for both PC servers Monday.

The issue is affecting both EU and NA, and it includes (at the least) PvP, trials, dungeons, and battlegrounds.

I crashed three times in under a half hour in PvP on PC-NA last night myself. Several of my friends crashed with me and/or have reported crashing in dungeons and trials. All since Monday’s maintenance.

On PC/EU I've had one kick to character screen+ rollback myself after completing Lair of Marselok. Several other groups have had rollbacks after completing veteran Sunspire and I've heard of it happening in other trials/dungeons before. Usually after a boss dies.

I'm not going to be trying for the no death+speed+hm runs because I don't want it all taken away by a rollback...

How you dare?! It's a new mechanic that bosses can use. Didn't you read the last patch notes?

New boss skill: Enraged Kick of to Oblivion With You!
- If bosses feel they are losing the battle, they can activate "Enraged Kick of to Oblivion With You!" sending an electric pulse that disconnects up to 12 players to login screen, making sure they rage quit for the rest of the day.

Wasn't Monday's maintenance. Has been happening since Scalebreaker.

I've had my entire raid team crash at least 10 times in vSS since Scalebreaker dropped.

The same thing happened to my group last Sunday on the last boss in vSS. We ended up running again, and thankfully it didn't happen the second time.

For me, Cloudrest crashes a lot when you try to port into the trial in the beginning. My team literally had to sit there and wait while I crashed and several others crashed, and finally we all got in. I crashed 3 times trying to get into Cloudrest one time. A lot of different types of trial crashes going on it seems.

Yesterday,in nAA, when we entered combat against the atros at the beginning, all the group but 1 player have crashed at the same time. Also, when we have to split in 3 different groups, the whole left group crashed at once.

Few months ago, in vetDepths of Malatar, we reached the last boss and we all 4 got kicked to the character page at the same time : the dungeon reset sadly.

In guild, I hear many people complaining about their whole group crashing in trial these last days, especially in Sunspire.

Kicked from vAA as well, though oddly, it was when we were split up into three groups, and only the 4 people in my group got kicked.

Happened to me in vDSA as well, ugh.

I was in the left group when we got booted in AA as well. Hmmm

It is a new feature. It is because of addons. Do not be surprised if that becomes what Zos blames.

On ps4 but had no crashes in trials recently (guess have that to look forward to! 😉) but was a time about 10-12 months ago that could not even attempt vHRC - was appalling.

But did get fixed. So there is always hope.
