I haven't logged in for a week. Have no desire to log back in either. Game runs like crap. Haven't even gotten the update on console yet, I'm sure it will break more aspects of the game.

Sad state of affairs, this was one of my favourite games

ESO launched in 2014. They've had half a decade to fix the bugs and performance issues. It'll never be fixed.

I am taking a break called (ARK Survival Evolved) until they straighten their *** or at least unnerf a lot of the fun stuff they butchered

It was worth playing through the crappy everything else for the unique and fun builds, but they axed all of them so...

I've been taking a break for about a month now since performance got reeeeaaallllyyy bad after Elsweyr. Got tired of all the general lag, and huge amount of bugs that continuously go unadressed. Just been logging in to keep up my guild memberships. I'll start playing again eventually, but for now I'm catching up on my backlog of other games.

The game is unplayable in stretches. Performance is in the toilet. But the crown store works.

What is there left in the game?

Single player PVE: combat is a slog and there is no challenge or progression.

Group PVE: the bright spot in the game IMO, but performance is too bad with no improvement in sight.

Solo PVP: is kill :’(

Small group PVP: still pretty good, if you are one of the lucky few who can find a regular, committed group.

Large group PVP: fine if that’s your thing, but performance is too bad with no improvement in sight.

I have kind of been on break, but I check in fairly often. Mostly because of offline life commitments, not because of any drama going on in here. Though, admittedly, I'm not going to heavily change up my playstyle or build until they're done auditing abilities. Then, too, I'm not a die-hard end-game PvE/PvPer. I just do whatever. *shrug*

Everyone is an individual who makes their own decisions for themselves. You want to stop playing for awhile? That's Your decision. You want to continue on while they work on improvements? That's Your decision. You want to go play another game? That's Your decision. You want to go to the Artic and feed penguins? That's Your decision.

Im always on and off the game since summerset, play for a few days, take a few weeks break, repeat, I just cant stick to it as my main game anymore as it was up to pre-summerset, idk what it is, I guess its a mix of incompetence from the combat team, a hint of performance issues and a pinch of combat system changes I dont necessarily agree with.
Oh... and probably because I play on PC-EU, I guess thats also one of the reasons.
I feel like when ZOS discovered that crown crates are good money, the quality of the game went downhill really *** fast.

Yeah, you will come back to exactly the same game with the same problems, but with 2 fps more and 10ms ping less on average

I already took a break... ~one year ago, and came back since then. And that's enough. If you don't like the state of the game, don't force yourself and go do something else until it's back to something you would enjoy, that's the healthy decision, if you love the game but don't enjoy playing it right now.
